I've knocked up a page to try and record the current fastest FWD cars in the uk http://www.mitsubishi-fto.net/ukfastestfwd.htmCan you take a look and if I'm missing any 10s or quicker FWD cars from the list please PM or email me the details, lets compile a comprehensive list and try and keep it up to date.

Yes we do, but the coupe isn't a great drag car due to it's weight. In standard trim the 20vt is ~1310kgs.
From memory the best 1/4 time which has been set is 11.9. There was a Coupe with 616bhp on here but it never ran up the strip (it did try but IIRC snapped a shaft). That car was broken for parts earlier this year.
The coupe shines in the handling seciton of TOTB where it has won 2 from the last 3 years.

Pretty wrong in my opinion, probably you speak only from papers... better check the weight first;). A 20vt without clima and sunroof, weight about 1368kg... My coupe with clima and sunroof, with 10liter of fuel and 3liter of washing liquid ,weight 1415kg ! I think nobody check the weight of a 20vt and result was ...1310kg....or close. But...I'll try next year to minimize the weight(bonnet and boot lid - glassfiber, door safety bars pull-out and changed with aluminium, polycarbonate windows at doors and rear windshields, cut everithing isn't necessary ,especially from back of the front wheels) and maximum dragrace performance with stock internals:).In my car already is a 7kg bucket, 7kg gel battery,no a/c, lifted back end and rigidized rear suspension.http://www.torquestats.com/modified/index.php?car_id=184

Has Sparco ever had his coupe weighed?
I think its time for someone to squeeze a 700bhp 20vt into the back of a seicento

For the nine seconds,is this fiat coupe > http://www.dragtimes.com/Fiat-Coupe-Timeslip-21369.htmlNigel, I think could be done a about 800-900kilos coupe(yellow, now white italian *4x4 16vt weight 1100kg !) but, like the cars listed, will be a less street car and more drag car...:)...fiber doors, polycarbonate all glass parts, fiber bonnet, fiber bootlid, pull-out everithing interior or replaced with race/lightened(gauges board), rear axle lightened or even changed with a lighter one, fuel tank moved (race one-20L) in front of the front axle...maybe removed reinforced structure from inside of boot...

Oh thats lush. Looks like it has had quite a fair bit of things removed - look at the bottom of the windscreen for instance - no wipers, fan, even the box section is gone (probably to make more space for TBs/plenum)
Has the front subframe been modified? It looks a little different too

Pretty wrong in my opinion, probably you speak only from papers... better check the weight first MattM's weight, although subject to some questioning on the accuracy of the weighbridge used. 950bhp 16vt must be interesting to launch!

shinyshoes ,throttle pedal isn't fixed :)) !....otherwise,his standalone for sure "know" launch control. Also, just the boost can be limited on first gear.Probably this car become extreme violent in accelelration in hi-revs...until ~5000rpm,is like(at 3000rpm even weaker) any coupe with usual turbo upgrade(like our cars). But Yes,probably with fulda carat extremo it's impossible to launch...I doubt he use that kind of tyre ...:D...
