Had to get up at 6am to make it to Loughborough for 7.
Not happy at all,and quite moody laugh

Had 2 on the dyno.
Mapped by Fc performance a month back.

First up my Black LE

Got 411Bhp at 6000 rpm.482 NM torque
Unfortunately there was a splutter at exactly 6000 rpm in 4th gear which meant we couldnt take it over 6200 rpm.
This is sorted next week, and its set at 1.5 bar of boost before the splutter.
The mapper,Gordon said the fueling was brilliant for a car running the power mine is and was very impressed.
So credit where credit is due to Flea.

Then went to visit Ash-p where he sorted my wheel alignment issues out.
Car drives really well now.And with the 888 tyres on the power delivery is much improved all be it alot more torque steer.
So prob another diff next week

The second was Darksides 20vt Bravo that i built a few months back n ow..
363 bhp on a stock engine.
Mod list is on my website.,
Runs cost £30 each and you get to watch the run as your stood next to the car and hes very chatty and thorough with his work.

Don't worry John, we'll get yours flying all the way to redline next week, although you still won't catch me at Donny wink

Darren phoned me with the results of his GT28RS Bravo, I think I was 1bhp away in my estimate laugh He mentioned 500nm (368lbs/ft) of torque also, which is pretty exceptional!

I have got a camera ready to show me overtaking you with ease. laugh
I did the clutch on Darrens last week and when i drove it after it felt very quick and hes happy with the results.
My ears have just about recovered since driving it down to Bristol.

Good results JBT,, nicely coming together ;-)

Was the boost set at 1.5bar during test? Was it tested in 4th gear?

Yeah it was in 4th gear.as tas the closest to 1:1 ratio

This engine really starts pulling at 5k onwards so to have an ignition misfire at 6k was unfortunate.
boost may be lower at those revs, not sure.Peak on the avcr was 1.55.

would 5th gear not give a ratio closer to the 1 to 1 ratio ideal for rolling roads as its ratio is 0.914 as oppose to 4th gear's 1.156

top results by the way
