A few of you know that in between the various other things I do I've taken over as the centre manager for formula one karting in Colnbrook

At some point over the next few weeks I'm going to hold a meet at the track. most probably on a Sunday and could make it a regular thing depending on interest. Our car park's big enough to accommodate 40 cars and I'm trying to arrange a discount for fccuk members.

Let me know if you're interested so I can gauge numbers!

Yeap they run on gas but still quick, The new karts came in Nov / Dec so you may have been on the old ones.

The kids karts run on petrol though lol

Yeah it was before then so was the old ones!

I booked through an agent the first time so didnt have the places number, got lost driving around the estate for hours... then when we got there we had missed our slot! Luckily they gave us another one FOC the next week

Was a good laugh though, the track is pretty good too

Ok guys, I'm probably going to hold a twin sprint event based on these numbers.

Race format: total drivers split in two groups, 2x20 lap qualifier sessions, top 5 fastest drivers of each sprint qualifier go to the top half 40 lap final and compete for trophies and the remaining 'slower' drivers compete in the bottom half 20 lap final for nothing lol

Confirmed price £34.50.

I'll have a definite date and time this sunday, I aim to get this going hopefully on sun 24th or the week after and most probably in the morning.

As soon as I have a date and everyone confirms I can take payment via paypal or bank transfer as it cannot be done on the day and has to be done before hand in order to compete.
