Sorry can't make this because of unforeseen difficulties. Hope you guys have a great day. Have a safe journey to and back from italy Rob Hope what you have heard Simon isn't true or there is some valid reason. Only time I recall was the SICD a good couple of years back where there was three shall we say characters invloved. you had.. 1 ) coupe owners ( great easy going bunch of guys ) 2 ) event organisers ( they failed on the last bit ) 3 ) car club full way greeting faced grannies ( I'm been kind again ) don't know of any other times, but then again I don't make all the meets Sorry you can't make this Ronnie, we'll have a great time without you miss your company My first SICB day was 2 years ago, the one where your clutch went kaput, so hadn't heard about the incident you refer to. No need for any rough edges on these occasions, a little tolerance and flexibility goes a long way.

well think i'm in for a sleepless night tonight, highlight of my whole month SIC+BD! besides also gives me an excuse to splash out a little LE skirts and front lips painted and fitted as of last night, 6spd box, new clutch and short shift fitted since the last meet. oh and while i was working yesterday- the legend that is dad + a day off (bored) +a little sunshine = resulted in me having a full HID conversion, my grill fixed, a new coupe engraved tax disk holder and this is the best part...the full side of my air box cut out and meshed (and everybody wonderes where i get it from) . really sorry to here about peoples problems, and i hope everybody makes it. looking forwards to seing you all.

Eeeeeee what a good do Probably the best mix of exotica i've seen in a long while, old and new. Hopetoun seems to get better every year and the weather has always been brilliant, well worth adding a couple of hundred miles to my journey, the scenic route back was a hoot Great to see everyone again and hope to see you all at xmas. Going to hit the sack for a couple of hrs kip then off to Italy for a wee Sofia is
This is how it should have come out of Torino!

This event gets better every year! Loads of great Italian machinery and even a bonus Porsche meet in the car park outside with other exotica mixed among them . Nice to see a decent turnout of Coupé's (I was surprised to be the only Sprinty there too !) As usual it was good to see the old and new faces and hopefully I'll see them all again at the Christmas meet next , good luck with your trip too Rob . I'll get some pics uploaded on here as soon as I can but here's a link to my Facebook album for just now. Hopetoun House 2012 A short video of some Lamborghini's driving away. Baz

Good pic collection Simon. Was a great day out and some fantastic cars on display. Even the weather was great! Keeping the wee ones occupied distracted me from interacting as much as I'd have liked but they seemed to enjoy their day too. Can't believe all those Italian car enthusiasts and not one query about my Coop for sale| Do you guys who saw think it think it is fairly priced??

I love the Cobra (even though it isnt Italian) +1, the Cobra was a cheeky addition which had bags of character, you couldn't get upset with it not being Italian - it also had a great sound which I preferred to the strangulated dry rasps of the Lambos, well-captured by Baz in his vid.

The wee ones were great and your lad was right on the ball especially when he was giving me a hard time for not being able to put up the banner The other guys are probably better placed to comment on your asking price - just because no-one enquired doesn't mean the price is unreasonable, it's probably that the market is a bit slow up in these parts. Heck, I don't see a coupe from one month to the next Would it be unaffordable to keep it another year, if you can keep abreast of the kids/space/bikes issue?

Forgot to add, the conversation that took place immediately before this pic went something like this:- Angelo "I say old bean, it would be absolutely spiffing if I could just sit for a moment in a Ferrari" Old bean " This way, sir........." Cut to Angelo tripping out, well worth capturing Btw, the guy standing up runs my paintshop
