That sounds great. Meet there about 11.30.

I'll aim to get there as well. What time will you move on if anyone's running late?

Can I just say on behalf of the rest of this great forum how proud I am of all the members that are making there way up to this special event for a very special little boy and his family.
As always this forum has pulled together in a families hour of need to make a little boys last wish come true.
It's going to be both a hard and enjoyable event, yes it's a car meet where many people will get to see some of there favourite cars and catch up with friends they may have not seen for a while yet at the back of everyone's minds is the real reason of today's event.

Well done to you all and I am very proud of you all and the effort you have all made today lesa x

Fantastic day, great too see some new faces as well as everyone else. A huge thanks too those that did turn up. And a massive thanks to RK for coming all the way from Southampton.

It was quite emotional too see Connor with his dad. Just hope Connor enjoyed the day.

Nice to meet a few new faces and to explain the difference in quality between the more expensive Le and the cheaper plus models to RK.

Phenomenal turnout in such short notice.

Shows that there is so many good people all over the country and some from abroad that drove up for this occasion.

Was truly an emotional day, and hands down to Connors Dad who was a real hero in such heartbreaking circumstances.

Connor himself showed courage and bravery and was full of smiles .

I wish them both luck for the tough road ahead, .

Just wanted to say what a great turn out it was, not just from fccuck but every one, was great to see so many people coming together for a great cause.
I hoped connor had a great day, I have to be honest I chocked up when his dad made the speach, I could not imagine going through such a terrible and tragic time, my heart does go out to the family.

I can only reiterate what has already been said. Great turnout from FCCUK (did Marco make it?) and from a very broad spectrum of petrolheads

I felt my eyes watering when Connor's dad made his speech, and Connor did the prizegiving. After giving Connor his trophy, his dad had a (discreet) mini breakdown. I can't begin to imagine his pain, but I nearly joined him.

On the bright side it was great to meet the faces behind some of the names on here. A great bunch of blokes, even Ms RK agreed there were no knobbers laugh I chose to believe she was including me in that statement

Paul thanks for co-ordinating it, and the rest of you for making a sad day enjoyable.

John I managed to get Auto Italia on the way home cool A magazine which truly understands the Coupe and who can be trusted to state the facts without any bias.

Two points to note:

1. All done without being as overpriced as the LE

2. The LE seats, absent from the Plus were by default not among the "best bits" tongue

Much as it grieves me, I have to accept their judgement on the matter. I trust you will too?

To round off a great day, 476 miles without so much as a stutter from the plus, much of it at speeds which played havoc with fuel consumption.

Thanks to Genic for posting the vids!

This sounds like an excellent event. I have just left work and didn't realise my name was down to attend.

Would of really liked to meet you RK and join the convoy from Northampton onwards.

Missed this, and was about to post the link. Sad news for a little fighter to suffer so much is never right.

Glad we made the meet, at least he saw how much people cared.
