Alrighty there!!

I am a very proud owner of a Porto 20VT, Just starting out on the road to modifieng heaven... Staying in Edinburgh at the mo.

Was looking through old threads about a meet in Scotland. Did it eventually happen then??

Have an idea for a meet..

On the 1st July at Knockhill they are hosting the British D1 (drifting ) series.

Now i know coops are scupperd here with their FWD setup, but you wouldnt find a more spectacular event for a meet.

Not quite sure what the circuit will be. Rekon they must start about half way round, last hairpin then veere off the home straight onto the car park and set up cones up there for the last few bends.

Drifting is awesome and such a spectator happy sport.

I'm definitely gonna be there. Infact i might even take it easy on the Sat nite before.

Admission is between 3 - 10 PM

Any thoughts???

Rick

Hiya RickBull,
I went with some of my friends to Silverstone on Friday the 30th June they are teaching me to drift i can tell you its not as easy as it looks i kinda thought id get in the car and it would come naturally and i'd kick arse but instead i just looked like a learner driver but hey i dont give up

I met a guy a Silverstone called Brett Castle and he is the number 1 in that drift series at the moment altho at Knockhill he blew up his gearbox

Went to watch Tokyo Drift last night god i wish i couls come into money so i could buy a skyline of course there's no way i would sell my coop but at least if its my own car i would have more time to practice
