Just to confirm I have sent off Wheel Club Zone application form and cheque for Saturday for 2 people. I have also applied on line for V Max (what was I thinking!?). Ross, feel free to update your lists.

As I understand the website and this thread if I am 'successful' in being given a V Max place then we will NOT be parked in the "crop circle" but in the paddock?

Whatever happens we'll be there and very much looking forward to it.

Presumably we're talking very early starts here?- before 8:00 am at the venue?

Chris, if you do get in on the runway list you'll have a spare couple of tickets as two are provided as part of being part of the entertainment package on the runway runs. I'm sure there'll be a few late comers who will want tickets though
Normally we meet outside the 3 Compass's pub just by the entry gate between 8 & 8:30.

The running list has been published, but it is unclear as to whether we have been included on the runway section
I will call Nancy tomorrow to see if I can clarify the issue. I will post conformation ASAP as if we (the speed freaks) are not running then we will also need to purchase "wheels zone" tickets for access.

Ok so, Nancy (organiser) was not aware of the change to the web page for 2013, in fact the whole page had been deleted by a member of staff at one stage and the one that was online last night was actually a mash-up of the 2012 & 2013 info, a cock up!
She has assured me that if we have not heard from the organisers at Brooklands who run the runway part, we are more than likely to be in the runway demonstation
She is having a meeting with the other organisations next week to confirm the running order so we should know then.

@Begbie - No, Wheels Zone get discounted tickets only better than nothing though

Well, we are now planning on an overnight stay on the way down - so will be attending after all. List amended again (sorry for the messing about). Have cleared it with the event organisers (despite the passage of the deadline), and now awaiting tickets

I'm also out of this one I'm afraid.

Main reason - Neil Sinclair at Brooklands has not once, but twice lost my completed application form and photos. So, I've lost the will to live.

Also, this date coincides with a planned social weekend in Bristol that I've just realised.

We haven't been told we're not in it either, I admit that stating if we haven't been contacted it means we're on for the V max makes me nervous that the tickets etc. won't turn up. Having said that I innocently applied for two normal tickets, not knowing that if successful for V Max it was free. They have cashed my cheque now so I don't know if I'm V max or not or if I have a spare set of tickets. If a do do V Max then then the spares are up for grabs.

Great shame you won't be there and can't quite understand the Brooklands reference relative to Dunsfold; see you again soon- Honnington and duck herding perhaps?

Chris, Brooklands museum organise the runway run part of the event, hence Dan's reference to them.

Re: Brooklands, it is the use of their volunteer marshals that gets them involved in the organization of the "Runway Runs". But Nancy will change the application process next year, due to the terrible experiences of all applicants, us + others
