Gathering interest for the second Tatton Park event of the year

Taking place on Saturday the 17th August 2013 and Sunday 18th August 2013.

Entry is free for cars (including the driver and one passenger) entered onto the stand and I will require names and registration numbers.

If it's any help nismo, we meet up at Lymm services first, which also have a Travelodge on site here .
I've had a quick look for the Saturday night and it's currently £28.
I've never thought of suggesting before now, but Pete stayed there and it seemed ideal for people like yourself who are travelling quite a distance.

Or you can stop over in a tent for £10. They have a bar/marquee on site, which I believe is open until around 11pm ish.

Yes it is adequate for one night Nismo.

Rooms on the far side overlook a truck park though, so it is not wonderful if you like to sleep with a window open. I think it is just those with even numbers, mine was 226.

You may want to consider the knutsford travelodge. It's a lot closer to Tatton than Lymm. J18 of the M6 from memory.

It is closer than Lymm, yes, but we meet up at Lymm for Maccys breakfast, before heading for Tatton

Good point well made. Burger King at Knutsford for breakfast, shakey at best.

Potential attendance on the Saturday. But unless I get a respray anytime soon I won't put it up for the stand.

Yes, both days Stuart One Maccys breakfast is good, but has to be done over two days

Weather hasn't been too bad here, although spent most of the afternoon in Prestatyn, but sunny and mainly dry, with just a couple of spots of rain so far.

I'll be happy if it stays as that for the weekend

I am rather partial to a Maccys breakfast!

It has been throwing it down here for most of the day, I'm only about half an hour from Tatton park. Hopefully it will be better at weekend.

Will there be a set time we have to stay till on the day?

Yes, if we are exhibitors we have to stay until 5pm if I remember correctly from June.

i'm not going to be able to make this now as i have family over from Oz .

Stuart, we have to stay until 4pm unless you have an extreme emergency and have to get out.

No vehicle movements are allowed until 4pm due to Health and Safety reasons, etc.

Rained on and off in the afternoon, but still quite a warm day and we had the gazebo to keep us dry.

I recommend this show. Lots and lots of interesting, random cars on display from various different clubs.

We could have done with a few more Coupes to show off to compete with the Capri club opposite!

I wander if that MR2 owner burnt through his paint by the amount of times he polished the car! Haha

Great to see the coupes and have a chat with the owners at Tatton on Sunday!!!

Now I just need to move house so I've room for three cars.... :-)
