I live south preston, so probably easier to go on motorways rather than back roads to preston centre. go down M55 then the M6 onto the M61. let me know when you get onto the M6 then i'll be able to join the motorway at more or less same time. or can meet you at services at junc 31 M6, or services just before bolton on the M61!

Anonymous Unregistered A	only problem with meeting up at charnock richard is its further down M6 than the M61 turn off! probably bolton services on M61 at similar time might be better!

Anonymous Unregistered A	Just been warned by a mate that if anyone is coming from Manchester way ( / ) the M62 is closed till 9am on Sunday morning. If this is the case I guess your best bet may be via Skipton, joining the A1 just past Harrogate.

Anonymous Unregistered A	there is going to be a diversion in place, so might take extra 10-15 minutes. don't think it will hold us up too much at 7 am. really don't like the A59 past skipton! meet at 6.20am busa?
