Just me, then! First cars - upto 1600cc, ran 1st..65 of them Anything from 1 litre Micras upwards. Didn't chew the gravel up much. I swear old style Minis are getting smaller too.
Then the big stuff, 117 of them, which did re-arrange the gravel. Evos, and Imprezas efficient with their lines and quite reserved bar for the shot gun anti-lag exhaust. Mk2 Escorts are still the biz. So much sideways action, and the non-turbo engine and exhaust thumps the air and your chest as they pass.
A Lancia Stratos turned the forest into a concert hall, but the Metro 6R4 did it for me. If I smoked, I would have had to have lit one after it had gone
.
N/a went well (on the way there, not round the forest), tricky in the wet this morning with a bit of air under the wheels at times. I like driving in tricky conditions.
Oh aye, Stilo 1.8 smoked badly - oil - doubt it finished the rally
Update: The Stilo retired with a broken gearbox on the next stage.
The Stratos retired the following stage too.
