Faux leather dining chairs started peeling #1568210

Has anyone else had this problem? My dining room chairs (set of 4 that came with a table) are around 5 years old now and whilst the wood is in perfect condition the faux leather is looking pretty poor.

The missus has blamed the cat for scratching some of them, but they all seem to be peeling away to the top layer of the faux leather, leaving a woven fabric underneath. My problem is the cushions aren't removable, so I can't think of a way to get them re-covered without damaging the chairs. They weren't that expensive, but I don't really want to buy another new set etc..

Cheers
Chris

If you are handy with a staple gun why not buy some leather of eBay and recover them? We did that with ours some time back and still looking like new.

This! Buy a roll of any material of your choice - unpick the old cover, there's your template, cut and re-staple
