Nowthen Jo, There is plenty of people in this area with coupe's and there has been a bit crack about a meet @ morton park in Darlington but just keep ya eye in the coupe spotting north east section, im sure it will be arranged eventually;)

Probably because we had a meet quite recently but that's nothing to stop us having another one.
There's quite a few of us in Darlo (Me, Lecky_Pete, Darlo_Nick (funnily enough) and DennisK (although Dennis has a fairly large amount of coop trouble at the moment)) and Panic and Pag are not far away either.

should be fine here too but carparks are starting to get full wherever you go in and around town now. Best I can suggest is prob somewhere around Mac Dees at Morton park right in a corner somewhere

Just spotted this thread. 
No need to be sorry mate. I pick the blue bitch back up from Motormech this Monday - complete with new Pace FMIC & rad, new front disks & pads, new thermostat...
...oh, and a new engine and minus a kidney  
As for dates, depends if the meet is during the day or evening. I can make the 25th if its during the day and the 26th if its during the evening. All my other weekends are pretty much unbooked.
Morton Park at Maccy D's would be a scream as we can point and laugh at the rest of the Nova's and Paxo's. Another alternative is Teesside Park on a Wednesday night as its supposedly quite busy there on that night with the (badly) modified car locals.
P.S. If any of you are out in town next Saturday night, be on the lookout for a load of lads wearing very peculiar outfits.

On the wrong shift this week for Teeside park, but Sat or Sun afternoon at Morton Park would be ok for me. Maybe last chance for you all to see my poorly bonnet (for sale if yours is worse!!) as getting Vince to spray my new one & fit my side skirts (LE type).

Hmm, this is more difficult than I thought it would be!!

I would be up for this Wednesday evening or next. We could meet up at Morton Park first and convoy in.
We could make it a semi regular thing. Say every month or six weeks or so. In my old owners club we used to have a meet pretty much every Sunday.

Type in the postcode DL1 4PJ into Multimap and it will show you the location of Morton Park. When you come off the B6280 at the roundabout, take the right at the next roundabout and right again at the next. This will take you into the McDonalds car park where you will no doubt see the usual motley collection of chavs, Nova's and Paxo's.
I can't make this Saturday night as I'll be out in town celebrating my birthday (which is tomorrow!).

How about meeting at Scotch Corner on Sunday going for a blast and lunch somewhere in the dales, never mind freezing your whatnots off in a car park with a load of schoollkids C,ON we are coupe owners and i did enjoy our last meet even though there was only 3 cars, the lunch was great,the weather was great and the company was great.how about it

Rushed back from work, gave the car a quick wash, turned up at Morton park............No one Hope Wishy & Solas had a descent meet. Doesn't bode well for Darlo as a coupe hotspot!

Nope - you're right - we're not renowned for our meets up North I met up with Solas and Wishy earlier this year and had a good drive and lunch in vgood weather  Why don't some of the Darlo coopsters come down for the SYorks meet on the 9th?
