Just polling at the moment to see whos interested.Any coupes from Derby,Nottingham,Leicester and surrounding areas then this is easy access for all of you.The plan as discussed with a few of you is to do a track run.Meet at Donnington park grand prix museum car park for some pics and chat. Then go from the park onto some of the best scenery and roads that Leicestershire has to offer.Past east midlands airport and stop at the airplane graveyard for some more pics. From there its a good run round some twisties and straights till arriving at the kings head pub in Hathern for a few cokes and a bite to eat. From there its easy access to the m1 at junction 24 for anyone who wants to call it a day.Weather should be picking up by then as well.Anyone who fancies a few laps of Donnington in feb see my post in track events.

Johny & Genic, a lad i used to go to college with once managed 15 slices at a Deep Pan all you can eat buffet.
Just one slice short of 2 large greasey deep pan pizza's.
My best was 8, then felt bloated for 3 days until i unleashed the mother of all turds.

Hope that sets somekind of target.

Thanks johnny, would be nice to feel the real devil inside of me and my car Still won't be able to match those bravo looks. Still got a soft spot for them, well until i press my gogo pedal (when it boosts properly).
Can't wait to have a coupe/bravo convoy around those nice bends, Nice to meet the faces to the names too.

on a serious note , it was quiet nice to be able to go around a roundabout with out understearing in to the nearest hard object when you put your foot down

cjh
Proccy
johnnybravoturbo
Dannyboy
duke748
Genic
Richard_24
Gibbo
Coupedummy
Jap
Ash_p
Jamiepm
I will pm everyone a few days before just to remind you all.
And as you and ash only live 10 mins away theres no excuse jamiepm ;\)
And get ready for Cjh to make the worst excuse for not going
P.s
some of you on msn have asked me about the competition between me and Dr.G..
I replied by saying there is no competition.
Dr.G got lucky on the dance floor and pulled the score to 1:1 after i beat him with the mind games :D..
Hats off to him though for 19 stone that MF can dance...
So best 2 out of 3 will be the eating contest .I plan to defeat G on his home turf.Hit him where it hurts.
But in the interests of playing fair,no starving,no tablets,no being sick, and we both must have the same to rule out any later questions regarding fairness.
I will take the 15 inch and Dr.G can start with the 2 inch for obvious reasons.. \:D

Excellent Proccy - glad your back on the road...

I've got my uprated clutch fitted, and my new thermostat fitted - thanks Paul - she's flying at the moment and running at a steady 80 degrees, I reckon she was over-fuelling before, the temp was sitting 60 degrees \:o

I had a little go at the pizza challenge last night.
Managed a whole large Domino's pizza to myself. But by the time i was half though my mate had finished his!!!.
I might bring him along, he could be a little bit of a challenge for you to two.

Soz JBT - as you know I am a secret agent and part of a Sleeper Cell ... Ive got the code "The big hair pie gets a good diving at dawn - and the pork sword needs to be sheathed - before the cock crows twice and the red fox is running"

Does that count as an excuse???? ;\)

Youll have to leave jap at home then....
P.s im taking my son whos 4,and i will have to go easy on the convoy as the bravo is up donnington park on the sunday and im bound to snap something if i stretch its legs,so anyone who fancies driving hard will be following my wife in the coupe..Shes been round donnington several times as well so she can drive.

After all you and Alf have been through....
I hope it hasnt heard you or it wont start tomorrow.
Imo the alfa with the twin wishbone setup should corner better than the coupe...
but they just dont.
I think that the bushes arent up to it...

rear stub axle bushes are common on them,
but if its from the front itll either be link rod or top wishbone..
But lets face it i have as i am sure many people have had at one stage A RELIABLE CAR and there ..boring and dont have any personality.Even if you move, once the italian is in your blood thats it,You always end up coming back.

Yeah good idea...
So we will all meet at Donnington park race track..
As you enter theres signs for the grand prix museum...
Its a gravel car park in front of it..
We will all meet there.
I have got to work so i wont be able to make it until 12.30...
So the meet time will be 12.00 until 1.00
We will have a few piccys there and a chat..
we will then go onto the airplane graveyard just up the road,if its open, for some better piccys.
Theres a nice pub just up the road,so weather pending will decide if we go in there.
We shall then go on a 15 mile convoy where we will meet up at pizza hut,but we are able to use a car park round the back as its usually rammed saturday..just for us...
We will then have to go V.i.p through a shop and out into the car park..
We will then have some all you can eat fun......

Well we will all meet between 12.00 and 1.00.......i will be there at 12 hopefully as theres alot of noises and boost problems i need to sort out....
Other peoples not mine....
We will then go to the airplane graveyard if its open..
eta about 1.30
then meet at a pub down the road again weather pending and if its open.
eta 2.00
then a run to pizza hut
eta 2.30
some all you can eat action
eta
3.30 exit
so whatever time it takes you to get home from there...
all these are a rough estimate obviously as sometimes we get carried away talking and other times it p1553s it down so we get home sooner.
I havent checked yet if theres anything on at the grand prix museum..hopefully theres not otherwise the park may be full...
nice and organised.....just how i like it..
anyone who wants my phone number pm me and i will give it you, just in case any probs...

Give me a break...if you can afford to run a car you can afford to put fel in it.
If you cant be bothered to go then make up a good excuse.
I havent got no money for fuel is pathetic.

Yep nice to meet new faces and some lovely coupes. The convoy was very interesting \:\) I was very surprised i kept up, must have been a good day for my car, but i cooked my brakes \:\( New fluid going in on monday.

Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks all for going,im sure you wont forget this one in a hurry...
Thanks all again for your help and for stopping the a42..
Many thanks to Jamiepm who went way beyond the call of duty. \:#
Thats the first time my cars ever let me down °\( .But i suppose it was my fault as the pipes are aftermarket.
I thought that the car didnt seem as fast as usual and there was definately a hissing noise.
but nevermind..
Fix It Again Tomorrow
Had a nice run back with Ash_p,
left him for dead on my home turf

I will host some piccys in the next few days as i took about 50....
And rich, next time we will get to pizza hut...

Nice one Steve - she looks OK as long as you don't get up too close, then you can see the dings 'n' scratches !!

The green ones look great all polished up, especially when the sun hits them. \:D

...roll on the next meeting
