Done this a lot in the past, I'd recommend getting there early and *try* not to get wound up by the long queues in the morning, and poor policing of queue jumpers (oerhaps it's better now?). Also see if you can't get some "club" tickets for free or discounted laps in the morning (that's why it's busy in the monring). In the afternoon it's not so bad, you used to be able to buy extra laps. As a spectator it's great to sit at Quarry and watch the track virgins losing it the first time they put their foot down, a tricky left hander over a small crest can unsettle the car and driver before the sharp right hander. Last bend before the start/finish line also catches people out.

I've been going for the last 13 years. Most times it's a hoot with all your favourite motors knocking about. If you're on an official club patch your organiser will get tickets for some, not all, members. I don't do track in my show pony but plenty do. Other meetings generate numbers of the red mist brigade, which put your car at risk. Not so this meeting as the individual clubs steward their members accordingly.
It used to be the case that Combe gathered all the italian machinery together, without the 'them and us' segregation of Fezzers, Mazzers, Alfas and such, then everything else that seems the way at Brooklands etc.
The SFC used to have its varied collection of classics and modded motors occupying an adjacent spot to the X1/9 Owner's Club making for big numbers, but in recent years the italians have been spread all over the show.
If you're reading this and haven't been before, love all motors, not just italians, you'll be in 7th heaven mate.
