hey guys

had the car on the rollers today, only mods i have is gtec 1, cat back system and a induction kit. I made 282bhp and the same in torque hahah, can this be right? or is my car running a different turbo?

Lol. Even running a different turbo, thats not possible without other mods i dont think.

What were the at the wheels figures? I've seen a few rolling roads which grossly over compensate for transmission losses!

at the flywheel its 282.3 bhp
and power at wheels 232.3

and max engine torque came out at 275.8 lb ft

max speed hit 121.5 mph at 6219 rpm

I think the flywheel figure has been calculated wrong, they have factored in too much transmission loss. If 220 at the flywheel is about 190 at the wheels (standard 20vt), then 230 at the wheels is going to be just over 260 at the fly. Did you get a fuelling graph and a boost graph? Could also be running lean or overboosting, you need those figures as well as the BHP graph to be sure it's in perfect health.

ah i got graph and everything here mate, aint got a scanner to upload it, he said my fuelling was spot on too, had a look at it while it was running, so i dunno, maybe im not running standard turbo im not sure?

Do you maybe have a red rocker cover? That adds at least 50bhp.

i know, i have graphs yeh, cant post them up though not got a scanner, i also have cat back system,but thats the only mods i have done to the car,but it does go like stink. Strange. it does feel like 280 bhp but i dunno. only way to tell would be against a well tuned coop

Well ive got exactly the same mods as Paz and i got 210bhp at the wheels which worked out at 255bhp at the flywheel and 253lb/ft.
