Panic can add the story.

I reckon boost control is the problem and rectifying that will increase the bhp and midrange torque aswell ;\)

cheers mate. That was my initial thoughs. Torque seems to come in hard at 3,200rpm but drops off after 5,000 while power seem nice and smooth but peeks at 260bhp. any advice welcome of things to adjust on boost controller to help matters. I run an HKS EVC5 controller.

I assume a "better" turbo and 3 inch downpipe would help too??

(makes sure Panic's missus can hear) Oh definately.

Best to get your setup just now sorted. Your talking about holding the boost longer, then getting a rolling road to check the difference.

Then u can get a new turbo and exhaust and see the difference.

Well. The boost needs to remain the same, but it needs to held longer.

panic could you please list your mods? I need to check which chip you are using. It seems that many mates are getting that torque drop from 3700-5000rpm. Im wondering why though!
