Well here is the chart from my result on my 16vt yesterday rolling road at Engine Advantages in Essex.

http://www.torque-steer.co.uk/diddy/RR/Coupe-Graph.jpg

Am I correct to say this is a good result? I'm impressed with the curve and the power for my mods :- induction kit, gutted cat, cat back system and powertek manual boost controller set to 14psi overboost holding 12.

Is this all good? 195bhp standard, 12 years old, 20bhp up....can't complain.

those transmission losses are quite high! when i got 230bhp at the fly with my 16vt, my power at the wheels was around 200bhp!

which dyno's do they use?

Well it made 170 at the wheels which is rubbish and 215 at the fly.....

I'm not sure which dyno it is but the website is http://www.engine-advantages.co.uk

Edit: It's a Hofmann Dynatest 112, [censored] knows what that is but that's what they use. My fly bhp does sound right for the modifications though surely?

when my (sick) coupe got 215 at the fly it got 180 at the wheels. it looks like yours got just over 160, but torque seems very high compared to bhp as well...

Probably due to the fact he's not holding boost late in the rev range?

Torque on the 16v turbo is invariably higher due to it being a long stroke engine. The dyno looks to be an older MAHA which will normaly give lower wheel power. The results are to be expected.

Cheers flea, it does equate to the correct figure at the fly imo

I assume this was with the evocars chip fitted.

Figures are hard to compare unless you have a benchmark but the main thing to check was fueling

hard to see on the graph - how was it?

and what boost, again I can't make it out. Can you improve (ie make bigger) the graph?

No the evocars chip wasn't fitted, this is with the mods listed above only!

The guy at the rollers said the fuelling was spot on at the moment, albeit a bit rich apparantly.

I was boosting to 14psi (0.9 bar) through the revs till 5-6k when it dropped to 12psi but like I say no chip fitted on this run, standard management

A very nice graph - spot on in my opinion!
