As you approach the Forth Bridge from Edinburgh there's a slip road off it (about 300 yds short of the tolls).
Go up there and turn left. The McDs is behind the Holiday Inn place. It's along the road towards Grangemouth and Bo'ness.

Can you read a map?

Ok.
I presume you'll be doing M8, under the roundabout at Newbridge where the speed cameras are and then off the slip half a mile later (that lovely sliproad that doubles back on itself ). Then after a short stretch of dual carriageway you come to a roundabout where you turn right for Kirkliston and left for the Bridge. Turn left there (obvious eh) and drive along the main road. After a mile and a half you come to a roundabout. Left takes you into a retail park with a big Tesco, right into Dalmeny/South Queensferry and straight ahead to the roundabout over the M90 just above the tolls. At this point you would normally turn right at the r'bout, go down the sliproad and straight into the tollbooths but to get to Maccy Ds you go straight across the roundabout and head for Bo'ness and Grangemouth (maybe the A905). Go along this road for about 300 yds then turn right into the petrol station/Travelodge/MaccyDs.

Does this make sense?

The postcode for the Travelodge is EH30 9YJ.
Put it into Multimap for directions.

Oh by the way, I saw a car with the no. plate H3YPR last week. It's a guy from Leeds and he got it because he's known as Hyper. Funny eh?

Thats well weird. I was gonna get the h3ypr plate but he obviously bought it before me! What car is it on? I have been known as Hyper all my life cause i have ADHD. Gives me sh*t hot reactions and loads of energy so i aint complaining.

I'll follow those instructions! Thanks dude!

Alright Boys, Just back from my hols and have no offshore trips planned so should be able to make this. Was wanting to get the car in for a bit of paint but probably wont have time. Anyway I will be heading down and probably my brother aswell. Will try and meet up with some of you at Makro.

Craig / Matty got the gear knob and fitted it at lunchtime today Thanks to you both!!!

Cheers
Si

He meant i'll be joining the convoy at Stonehaven. Unless you've had some sort of premonition

It better be a grale because you've changed your car and not your mums cinq.

Yeah,

What I meant was that Matt will be joining us at Stonehaven, pointless him driving to Aberdeen only to drive back down again..

Problems with your car Matty?

Lol, I see.

No problems with the coop, touch wood!

It will be my car no doubt, but I'm trying to get a shot of a Integrale.

Oh yes please! But John will want a shot too no doubt. I think we're doing Martins clutch tomorrow night.

Honestly, if I had the money I'd snap your coop up.

Any of the Aberdeen guys up for going out for a few beers on the Saturday night before this.

Note, i said a few beers, as we dont want to be unfit or unwilling to drive in the morning.

I'd say yes normally but will have to say no - 9am will be a challenge anyway without having beers the night before

Hmmm, I will pass on this as I'm out on a works night out on the Friday so I'll be a bit tender during Saturday and I don't want to ruin Sunday.
