This is the 2nd CITP event this year and is the first at an exciting and beautiful new location.

The event will take place at Harewood House (nr Leeds) on Sunday 5th October 2008 and we have been invited to attend.

The cost of entry is £6.00 per car but that includes the driver and one passenger. It also allows entry to the house itself along with grounds and bird garden. This is a substantial saving over the normal entrance fee and you get to see and park among some very nice examples of auto exotica.

I have reserved 12 places for FCCUK and once again, these will be allocated on a first come - first served basis. There is an option to order more but let's see how these 12 go first.

OK guys - I may have cocked up here.

I've just run through the checkout system so that I could describe it on here and now I can't get them out of my Checkout Box. So I'm going to suggest that I pay for the tickets in one go and if everyone PM's me I'll pass on my Paypal or Bank Transfer details for your individual payments?

Guys - I've been to CITP a few times, its a great do.

This is getting close and as Craig(MABR) has all the tickets, i think it would be a good idea to meet up somewhere and then travel in convoy to Harewood House.
I've had a quick look on the tinterweb and i reckon we should meet here, at the Lawnswood Arms Hotel which is located here .
Lokks like it has a nice big carpark and is fairly central for everyone to meet at.
Everyone happy with this or got any better ideas?

Sad to hear that James and also sorry that tickets had already been purchased so I can't arrange a refund for you.

Barmybob is also unable to make it but has offered his free of charge to anyone who wants to go.

All tickets have now been printed out and gates open at 10am. I'd suggest we all meet at MattM's suggestion for 9.15am and I'll distribute tickets there.

I'm sure everyone's back now. I was the last to leave and I got back about 6.15 pm

Weather was cold but dry and sunny, once near the place. I had a cr@p journey down, what with the rain, fog/mist, etc.

Not a great deal of cars or people there, but an excellent location

A lovely place, especially if you've got kids, so you can take them on the playground or if you're a couple and want a stroll around the bird garden, Himalayan gardens, etc.

Sorry for not talking to the Fccuk lot much. I was making the most of the lovely location and spending some time with my Grandson. It was his first car show and I don't think it will be his last either

Got to agree with Theresa's comments above.

I think the relatively low turnout was due to the bad weather on the run up to the event and the potential for more on the day. However, it ended up being a very nice day with warm sunshine in the afternoon although there was an underlying chill in the air.

The venue was fantastic with something for everyone.

Thanks to everyone who braved the weather and Taffy and TrevM for bringing their excellent gazebo again.

This was probably the last show of the season for the Northern Area so now planning for bigger and better next year.

Just got the Dyno Demon Rolling Road Day on Saturday to finalise then a Christmas "Do" in December to organise.
