Picking my car up from Motor Mech tomorrow so im definately coming.

Okay, moving this one forward....we need to be making a reservation somewhere if this is going to be a drive out and meal. Can we all post whether or not we are coming, and whether or not we have a +1.

To make sure we aren't left with only 3 people showing up, after we've booked somewhere, an idea is that someone will take a deposit by paypal, to ensure the booking, say £5 a head.

This will ensure attendance, and seeing as it is close to Xmas, give us a deposit on wherever we are going to go.... chances are we are probably talking a Xmas lunch (????)

I'm not particularly fussed on doing it, but if I don't, then I'm worried nobody else will.

So, if you agree, let us know.

Ha ha Benny, If you can develop Lower Hard Pipe Kits, perhaps you can put certain pharmaceutical manufacturers out of business.

Anyway.... Where is the venue for the meal. I think if we are meeting at Bridgend, then the venue needs to be somewhere else. The Cross Keys in Neath are doing nice Xmas lunches at about the £10 mark. If everyone is OK, then I'll take the £5 per head deposits via paypal and book it, but we are running out of time.

I am still down for 1 deffo, maybe 2. As for venue, don't know anywhere in that neck of the woods to recommend but I would be happy with a pub lunch whether that be a Christmas meal or just a place to eat, have a pint and a chit chat.

The group will meet at Sarn Services at 10:30 am. We'll have a lovely drive out in the mountains, and return to Neath for a meal and proper get-together in Remos Brasserie at 1:30.

To ensure that I have the correct amount of people to book the meal for, we are asking for a £5 deposit for each coop owner, plus any significant other they may bring along (wives and girlfriends more than welcome, and will help to make the get together even more enjoyable). This will confirm your attendance, and ensure we don't book a table for 12 and end up with 7 etc.

Well to add to what everyone else has said... Great day. Nathan, sorry you couldn't stay for the meal...it was great.

I think that in the future, this may be a format we'll follow again. Sitting down over a nice lunch is a lot more civilised than wandering around car parks, looking at people's engines. The drive over the Bwlch was great, despite the ice.
