Fiat Coupe no longer in EPER

Fiat Coupe no longer in EPER - 23/10/2012 19:56

Hi all,

Might be worth noting, there's a post on Alfaowner mentioning the latest version of Eper no longer contains the earlier GTV or the Fiat Coupe.

No idea on it's effects on part supply, it is over 10 years since they were last made though...

Yes I'm aware of this Benje, not good news at all frown

But if you have a part number it will still show stock/price on eper.

That's good, I asked that question on Alfaowner and no one seemed to know.

I knew the coupe was being dropped off the disc back in May so I asked the same question just to be sure.

So yes as long as we've got part numbers you'll be ok, well that is until the shelves are empty and then you'll have to rely on us second hand parts sales persons for parts laugh

So long as I can still get new expansion tank caps I'll be happy. Surely they're shared with newer models?

Is there a list available which shows what parts the Coupe shares with other cars?

Will older epers work simply for the part numbers?

Old ePer's will show old part numbers, but can also be used to show which other (also obsolete) Fiat / Lancia / Alfa models used the same parts. But also a Google of the old part number will show up lots of aftermarket replacements too.

DVD Version/Revision 67 ( DVD Rel.67 | Pricelist effective 01.02.2012 | Catalogue date 24.01.2012 ) of the ePER is pretty comprehensive, with Abarths, Cabriolets, as well as all the older models, diagrams etc.

I got my copy from Italy, but maybe gargoil is selling on eBay for not a lot of dosh:

I assume you got an activation code with it? It's not clear whether that eBay version includes the activation code.

Nope, no weirdness like that. Although you will need a fairly high-spec. system (I have a Core 2 Duo 2GHz and 3GB RAM laptop) to run it on, and I had to finagle a workaround on my WinXP Pro SP3 32-bit laptop, due to my own IE8 and Sun Java configuration problems at the time. On a relatively unmodified/hacked-about configuration that should not be an issue.

@ gargoil. Sorry chum. The coincidence of userid.s just led me to believe it might have been possible. No offence intended. wink

Ok this is annoying, i have been trying to get some part numbers and the online eper keeps saying it is busy.

Can anyone tell me if the ones you buy from ebay(as in Punto16VT post link) will work all the time and do they come with the activation codes?

Thanks in advance Tom.
