Rear Badge - 16/05/2017 12:30
Can you still order rear badges from fiat, just spoke to vospers and they said it not available
I know the same badge was used on most other fiats of the time.
Anyone got a new one for sale or knows the correct part number to get one?
Thanks

I've been keeping an eye on ebay - there's plenty available in the same design, but the dimensions are bigger than the coupe badge. If you don't mind this, they're available now on ebay.

The Part Number is 46305472, which is common to all variants.

Fair enough, but I made recent enquiries on a badge on ebay, the measurements given were 125 x 25. Part number 7695309 advertised for "Panda Cinquecento Tipo & Tempra". This is bigger than my badge.

Coupe badge is 90mm by 20 mm I believe. They sell them here...

When I looked closer at the eBay badge it looks a bit homemade and a bit crap. To be honest I wouldn't fit it to my coop.

Hmmm, it does look a bit cheap. Could be just a bad example in the photo. Might be worth a punt for £7, though. Mines really faded and I've just bought a new front badge which is bright and shiny!
If I decide to get it I'll let you know what it's like.....

It also looks hand painted. Maybe you could paint yours and save £5

The one I received was fine - much better than the picture on eBay.

That's good to know. I need one myself. Can you confirm if it is original Fiat?

No it isn't original Fiat. I tried but couldn't get an original one.
As you said, best to repaint original one if you can, or take this one to freshen up as a backup.

I've got a couple of Italian mates who live in the north of Italy. Maybe I'll drop them the part number and see if they have any luck.

I got one the badges as per e-mail link above. Got round to taking a pic next my original -
http://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah2/SimonN_PB/IMAG0839_zps5zgvmoyg.jpgIt is the same size, but the original is 'finer' - the text is thinner and it has a more rounded appearance. I'll probably put the new ebay one on the car, just because it matches the front bonnet badge.

This badge comes from the front grill of Fiat Uno

Ahh! Ok, thanks. It has a little tab either side, I guess to help fixing. If I use this one they will need cutting/filing off.
