Fuel pump wiring mod, live wire routing....

Hi chaps,
The "how to guide" links that show the wire routing go to nowhere unfortunately. What's the easiest route? I'm no dummy and will work it out, but it'd be nice if i can save time and get it right first time! From the battery, through the bulkhead somewhere, down the nearside sill, across under the rear bench seat and through into the back somewhere?
Also, where has everyone mounted their relay? I'm tempted to mount it behind the side carpet (and retain the last foot of original wiring) rather than under the plastic cover out in the elements.
Just about to rip into it now, so any advice much appreciated,

Passenger side unbolt the top of the wing you will find a grommet also known as the "magic grommet"
Your new fused supply from the battery will go through the grommet then under the carpet following the other wiring looms to ( I think mine then kinked out to under the seat to go through a box section then back to the inner sill, I also used the corrugated flexi conduit as much as possible to add some protection to the wire you will find it in abundance at the scrapyard if you cannot source it easily) follow the wiring to the rear bulkhead under the rear seat!
Now this is where my memory fails without looking!
I'm sure I ran the wire between this bulkhead and the rear seat so it's not exposed to any damage then came through on the drivers side
I mounted my relay on the bulkhead under the boot trim drilled and bolted to keep relay in place and use that as your earth too
I then purchased the correct plugs and sockets to connect to the existing loom and fuel pump ( most people just cut and join) so I can always plug it back as fiat intended if the relay fails
I also used 10mm2 wire all the way and only slightly reduced the csa to get it to fit into the crimp for the fuel pump plug
The hardest bit is undoing the wing really and getting all the correct stuff you need if you don't want to cut and join
I will see if I have any pictures that may help you and anybody else that may wish to do this in the future!

Top man thanks, that all makes sense. I was just literally about to unscrew the scuttle panel to see if i could get it through there somewhere, but the wing looks a much easier job! Thanks!

Ok i've found the magic grommet but it just goes into the lower section of the a pillar. Im guessing i have to run it down the inside of that and poke it out of the cutout to the left of the ecu? Shame as i've started routing from the back, so will have to thread a feed wire down to pull my wire up. You used 10mm wire? Blimey, i thought i was being generous using 4mm! Oh well, its bigger than standard and i need it done this weekend so it'll have to do.

Yeah 4mm will be fine had plenty of 10mm lying around so was easier to use that
Yes the grommet comes out somewhere down the a pillar

I just realised i lied! the hardest bit is taking the rear quarter out not the wing! its a doddle though!

No worries, yeah it came up/down through the a pillar just like you said! So from there i went down the nearside sill under the carpet, through the plastic where the speaker/seatbelt rail is, across under the seat, through the trim under the offside rear speaker, through the grommet in the boot bulkhead and along following the route of the stock wires. Will do some pics with a guide for others to follow as the current "how to" doesn't show that much detail.

Ok i took some pics of where i routed mine. Excuse the random blue wire in a couple of the shots, i had to use that as a threading wire because i started at the back of the car instead of the front. Haven't got a pic of the battery end/fuse yet but will add that later-

This first shot shows the grommet which you can get to by removing the 3 upper screws of nearside front wing and pulling it back-
