Just spotted this on ebay and it's not too far away from me.
Looks a bit unloved and in need of rescue.

Had a look at that earlier.
Doesn't look bad at all in terms of mot advisories.
Needs a rear brake overhaul and some TRE's for a start.

He can't/won't tell me what the oil pressure was when it went for it's recent run though. Big gamble if the engine is crap!

Get around there and let the car idle if you're not far. Good half hour of idling will give you a good clue what the oil pressure is doing.

That was sold once, then came back up for sale. Just saying....

This one was on my radar. It first sold for £1020 but the clutch started slipping and it was relisted. It then sold for £751 but for some reason the sale didn't go through.

I would do clutch, belts, rear brakes rebuild, tyres and tre's immediately if I got hold of it.
Then look at addressing bodywork issues like the bonnet, so it will need a few £ throwing at it even if the engine/box/turbo are ok!

Wonder what the underside is like.....

No advisories for corrosion since 2005 so hopefully very good.

Spend couple grand and you've got yourself a lovely car there with years of fun left in it.
