Crail today!

Decided to treat the coupe to a run up at crail today.

was a total vauxhall event so place was full of VXRs and valver corsa/novas.

was Typical, First run and the clutch decided to itself, so had to therafter just roll the car off the line even then when i put the foot down clutch was slipping badly.

Best time of the day was a 14.8 dunno if thats good on a slipping clutch was aiming for low 14's

Looks like a need a new clutch now! cant really give the car a hard time as its on 97k on the standard clutch lol!

Anyone recomend a good clutch for around £150 quid?

What sort of power will the standard clutch take without it slipping all the time??

Around 280lb/ft

Mine is starting to go following a visit to Flea and a significant rise in torque to 317lb/ft.

As above I think 280lb/ft (or slightly higher) is pretty much the limit (depending how quickly the torque come in).
