Is the accommodation you guys/girls stayed at , near the event ?

Any suggestions

Most of us that attend, live within an hour of Tatton Park, so we don't usually stop over anywhere.

Camping is allowed on site though, if you fancy that? Although don't know if Janice will

They have a huge marquee with a bar for all those that camp over too

If you're serious about coming though, let me know and I'll look around for somewhere for you to stay.

Failing that, you can always stop over at mine.

How many nights Ronnie and type of accommodation - Travel Lodge or "proper" hotel?

I know T's looking for you but I'm booking hotels tonight so could check for you?

Now all we need to do is get you on the forthcoming Lakes Run and it really will be like old times.

Janice is going try and come so that puts an end to the camping idea.

Seen there is a couple of places near by where we could participate in a babycham or two if you where staying over

I only live about 30 mins away so i can meet up for a few then get the mrs drive back ;-)

Looks like my coupe will now be healthy again in time for Tatton this year, so I have no excuses left, seeing as I only live a couple of miles away

Ross, you know you're always welcome as far as I'm concerned, but entries for these events always have to be put in early and myself and the organisers can't keep hanging around waiting for people to make last minute decisions.

Based on only 3 people, including me, turning up on the Saturday and only the 2 of us there on the Sunday last year, I didn't bother booking a big stand, so I've been told I will have a pitch big enough for 6 cars.

Based on previous years though, at least half the people will drop out anyway, so there may be a chance you can come along.

If you really want to go, you are welcome to my ticket, as it's my Mum's 60th birthday on the Saturday, so I shouldn't really be spending the time at a car show anyway!

I have an opportunity to attend this event with one of my local classic car clubs so I don't mind attending with you guys on the Saturday and my local Club on the Sunday; that way Ross can do the full weekend if he wishes?

Just to bump this as it's getting closer and to report the first "casualty".

Sadly I have to work on the Sunday so I'll only be there on the Saturday. . I will however have a couple of very nice coupe related "upgrades" with me for sale to discerning owners; a Genesis Profile 2 Amp and MB Quart "Old Skool" Component Speakers with modified tweeter grills. Also a mint Italvolanti Steering Wheel with matching OMP boss; this setup is the same depth as a stock wheel so you don't have to "stretch" for the stalks.

I'll update the attendance list in a bit to reflect the above.

As above, an excellent day; nice weather, good company and some amazing cars. Great to see friends old and new.

Some of us were looking for a bib for JBT as he was salivating so much over a silver Noble.

yeah sorry for my ignorance,i got a bit carried away thinking that 35k wasnt alot of money until i saw my bank balance.
at the rate im currently saving money i should be able to afford one by the time im 95.

TATTON = WOW , it's massive with more cars than an asda on a saturday afternoon, its even got stalls selling car stuff and tools, bit like the barrras up here, but that just a tiny part off it.
