Bucks/Berks Oxon Meet Poll

Bucks/Berks Oxon Meet Poll - 17/01/2006 19:10

fter having several very succesful meets, I feel it is time to start thinking about another one. I was thinking around March time.

It would involve a pub lunch followed by another spirited drive through Burnham Beeches. An area full of long winding roads finishing off with lots of tight enjoyable corners. Ask thse that have been before and they will confirm that the roads are great!
If you could let me know your interest and I will start putting up some dates based on interest!

Mark

P.S. Barney will not have his Porsche so it will probably be quite safe!

Hi Mark, how's it going?

Good roads on these routes. Nice and 'challenging'. Read as when driving like a granny in a n/a behind all the boys in their turbos.

As Tim says it was Jacoby and I too think his name was Phil. He lives around Portsmouth. We drove back that day at a much more sedate pace together until I left the M3 at J4.

A day or so later he told of petrol pissing out of his holed tank straight onto his hot exhaust.

Was very good to see you all and the hack was hair raising to say the least.
tree's, pot holes and road kill....... all in one day

shame there wasn't more of us but still very good also got to watch the grand prix and see lot's of smashes

nazo the food was hot still burning my mouth now

on the way home i went through a massive puddle it must have been over a foot deep and it all came through the passenger door like a tidle wave getting my mate absolutly drunched and it also got my alarm wet which caused the lights to flash (like hazards) and i got pulled over by the police lol
soon sorted it after a few fuses where pulled and then i realised i had to press the alarm fob

will be doing this again the next time

Re: Bucks/Berks Oxon Meet Poll - 04/04/2006 13:32

My spec: stage 3 TI ported + flowed head, 3angle valve seats with cut back guides, balanced rods, rings gapped down, Lightened flywheel, GTEC 1 chip + dastek unichip, GTA friction plate clutch with walkers cover plate, GT28R turbo with V band adaptor, Anew Digital EVO7 FMIC 008C, straight induction with K&N 57i cone, Greddy Profec B spec 2 controller holding 1.1 bar to the redline. 3inch down pipe tapering to 2.25 supersprint straight through system (supersprint decat pipe rather than totally straight through).

the noise is mainly the exhaust + K&N though!

plate is not legal but not bad enough to get noticed really had it on the coop for a month and been to a few local meets with police every where but havent been stopped for it.
fit's the 360 bumper nicely and it was only £13.50 delivered from http://www.malplates.co.uk they are the sign plates.
i also had www.fiatcoupeclub.org put on the bottom aswell

Re: Bucks/Berks Oxon Meet Poll - 19/04/2006 21:41

Yep.

Altough my wallet smarts, i'm the proud owner of a hybrid GT28R/RS

Mark - while i remember Barbz has got some expansion tank caps which should help with your leak (if that was the problem that day).
Posted By: Anonymous

Re: Bucks/Berks Oxon Meet Poll - 19/04/2006 21:58

Awesome Kenno - I chatted to barbz a bit about that hybrid. Got any exact specs on it? From what I remember should be a nice quick spooling alternative to the RS!

You can also get those caps from Desira directly Mark.
Posted By: Anonymous

Re: Bucks/Berks Oxon Meet Poll - 19/04/2006 22:07

Suba - Unfortunatley no exact specs but as you say he did mention it would be a quicker spooling version of the RS.

I'm hoping to get it fitted either later on this week or at the start of next week. A quick trip to Rog for a decat then up to Luton for a remap.
