I think Joe (CC) started a list last time, he brought the banners etc last time, not sure if he's involved/coming this year.

Re: Bristol Auto Moto - 27/01/2011 09:02

Been to this for the last few years now and never managed to get the Coupe there.

Sods law this year the car is actually on the road and it clashes with a trackday at Castle Combe!

Can't you do both James, Bristol show starts early and it would be great to finally see you take your own car chinny

Yes I heard back off Paul today smile

He's hoping to put the Coupés and Intergrales on St Stevens street or Small street which will get us a lot more views and interest in comparison to being stuck at the end of St Nicolas. Of course things aren't 100% yet but Paul said he'll know more the beginning of March.

No numbers were mentioned but I'd imagine it'll be 10 places again, further updates to come on this and our location.

Would love to Joe, one of the best shows of the year in my opinion! Have to at Combe for about 8:30 so unlikely to make it before hand.

Depending when we're finished I might swing by on way home though.

Try http://www.biamf.co.uk/ - it should give you all the info you need.

smile

EDIT: Very laid back atmosphere and you'll see cars here that you probably won't see at other Italian Shows. The best testimony probably comes from Mrs MABR who said that even if there's a time that I don't have an Italian car, we still have to go to this Show! cool

EDIT: Have a read of this too;

Bristol Italian AutoMoto Festival

We are pleased to announce the date for the Ninth Bristol Italian Automoto Festival (BIAMF). The Festival is the best event for Italian vehicle enthusiasts in the UK.

The Festival has become a huge success and is a regular highlight to the City’s busy calendar.

Focussed around Corn Street in Bristol's Italianate City Centre, the bikes and cars will be parked 'Latin Style' in what will be the most charismatic, City Centre Moto festival the Country will experience all year. The morning and afternoon “Start your engines” sessions, will make the 'Old City' shake to the sounds of pent-up horsepower, unleashed for the joyous appreciation of the owners and spectators alike.

The BIAMF will take place in Bristol City Centre on Saturday, April 16th and will have Ferrari as the featured car marquee, a true Italian Corner Stone. Benelli, who will be proudly celebrating their centenary will be our featured two-wheeler marque.

Planning is in progress and details of how to enter will be appearing shortly, so watch the website! Prospective entrants should make early contact as spaces will be limited.

Re: Bristol Auto Moto - 10/02/2011 22:09

Might be worth ending/merging this thread with Joe's new one.

Re: Bristol Auto Moto - 11/02/2011 00:33

AP1, hope you don't mind, but I'll lock this one, rather than merge it.

Joe's has got an official list forming on his thread and I think to merge the two threads will cause complications and maybe some confusion.

I'll leave your thread in place though, so people can have a read through it, but won't be able to post on it.

Hope that's ok and thanks smile
