Supercar Sunday @ Goodwood Breakfast Club 1st May

This is without question a fabulous event for anyone that loves fast cars. It's called Supercar Sunday for a reason. Last year it was glorious - Zondas, McMercs, Veyrons, F40s, Enzos, Murcios, Gallardos, DBs, even the old stuff like Countachs and Quattros etc - seriously fast motors lined up on the Goodwood racetrack for anyone to poke around, and it's FREE!! they also let cheaper but bonkers stuff in like X-bows, Atoms - speed is the key. Breakfast available at the event - £4 for breakfast rolls I think.

NB - 1st May is the day after Brooklands

2 meeting points for anyone wanting to attend, depending on how early you like to get up. That way we can all arrive and park together in the car parks and chat / take some photos etc, before dispersing to drool. Car condition not important - this isn't a show, just a good excuse for local coopsters to meet up.

Meet points:
[1] Whiteways cafe carpark on the A29 at 7.30am, with a convoy 60mph(!) drive into Chichester.Map
[2] calling at Sainsbury's car park in Chichester at 8am

Event officially opens at 8am and you can leave anytime as the car parks stay open. There's normally no traffic problems when you want to leave. Hope to see you there - Dan

I'm going straight to the bacon roll shop as soon as we get in! The queue for it is huge for most of the morning.

Btw it costs £5 for several rashers and an egg!

Yeah, it was worth the queuing time!

I even found the Goodwood shop and came back with a breakfast club tea mug and some stickers for the car!

Just a word of warning with this one, it gets absolutely packed very early so I usually take a back road route in to avoid the massive queues.

Unfortunately i'm out due to family commitments

I forgot all about it, but as I'm not staying in Sussex this weekend, and after Brooklands today, I'm out

well it was a very good turn out today with pukka weather and i'll get some pic's up later , looked like i was the only coupe there but had a good play with a 355 ( with only 2300 miles on the clock ), v8 m3 ( Indy ) and a couple of porsches on the way down but don't think EDz liked my driving .
