I need guesses on how much my coupe will sell for, I understand this is not a good time to sell etc. The car has been on various visits (5 in total) to replace all known faults at Poweritalia, L&M and most recently to Countrycruising (Joe). Car has had 5! previous owners and is currently at 108,000ish.
I have changed the following in the last 18 months:
Coolant hose of Death
Radiator
Oil Cooler and pipes
Thermostat
Aux Belts - cam was changed at 89,000 before I owned it.
New Rocker Cover
Hot Start issue fix
Front Wish Bones and drop links
Front Discs (Drilled) and Pads
Refurbished Turbo
Full Re spray (Whole Body/Wing Mirrors/Fuel Cap)
New Front bumper including splitters
Top Mounts
All pipe work inspected and replaced if required
Both Handbrake cables replaced
4 x new (1000 miles max) Toyo Proxes T1r 225/45/16 – filled with Nitrogen…

The car has been serviced I think 3 times by Joe last time around where he completed the Turbo change and top mounts as well as a full health check.
Compression test results:
165 164 167 165 163

I have loads more to add including photos and should be able to link these in tonight as my work pc blocks photobucket.
It’s a shame there’s not a website/place to swap cars as I’m sure this will go for far less than I paid for it regardless of the money that’s been poured into it. You can laugh now as I’m looking for an A4 estate to swap it for…
Thanks in advance for your kind words wink

Advertise for £4k and take offers, despite all that work, some nice LE's have gone for daft money recently, even the LE is not immune to this crash in car prices.

I'd suggest keeping it, I don't think you'd lose any money on it if you did but if it needs to go.

Best of luck

Gareth

Id hold out for 4K if not desperate to sell as they are still sought after and getting rarer.

I'd be interested for the right money?

James, as the others have stated the cost of these has dropped by half. The total spent on repair costs inc the respray are about £7k. The car is mechanically sound and looks great but in today’s market it's worth probably at a push £4k (to someone who really wants one)
I love the car and like most owners have my off days, yesterday was one of those.
This car will never make me any money, it's had too many owners and now has too many miles to be collectable. But I never brought it as an investment, it was love a first sight (so green I didn’t even know it was an LE!)

Hello Nello, car is standard apart from stereo. But I'm not selling at the moment. Thanks for the interest though and good luck finding one. Looks like there's only 70 odd LE's left in the uk. No wonder I've never seen another on the road.
