I get vibration when braking from 100MPH+ so I finally decided to get the problem fixed. I found a local company that can skim the discs whilst still on the car, cool wink

Booked in and turned up, left the car for a while and then an hour later I get a call saying my brakes are F***ed. The inside of the rotors are rotted away on both sides. Both outside rotas are fine. He said he would have to skim 3mm to get it right but that would be far too much. Basically I need new rotors.

Does anyone know where I can get rotors made for a good price? My brakes are two pieces so the bells are ok I just need new 320mm rotors. Heres a pic

Also where do I get the Brembo callipers rebuild?

Suppose I could, the seal kits are like £40 a set but if a pro can do it for a good price and paint them then I’m up for that.

Any online step by step guide to rebuilding the Brembo 4 pots will be useful?

What discs have you got already turboj?

AP racing will sell rotors to fit lots of different combinations of centre bells, but wouldn't you also need custome mounts too if your going from 304mm to 320mm rotors? (i.e. the caliper will be moving outwards a little)

IIRC there is a guide to rebuilding brembo calipers anyway. You have a PM too wink

Mine were originally done by Red Dot racing, but they no longer do brakes anymore. The rotors are 320mm and I hope the bells I have are ok for AP rotors to fit.

Google 'compbrake'. If you send them the bells then I'm sure they will do some rotors for them to your spec.

Will do.
Mine are 320mm x 28mm 10 bolt. (Hard to find)

Ok for those that are interested in Brakes. Hi-Spec custom made me the rotors I need for £260 all in. I have now gone to 325mm so no problems stopping now, all vibration has gone. I also rebuilt the Brembos, the seals were perfect so I just powder coated them for £30. It's all very easy so for those considering it’s well worth doing enjoy;
