I've searched on here, I've searched on google, but I can't find the exact specs of the OE Turbo (20VT). Does anyone know, specifically the compressor wheel trim?

Thanks Freddan, the extra detail hasn't helped my search ... I've discovered a few brazilian sites, but none revealling the trim of the compressor wheel etc.

Well, I'll answer my own question. I think it's a 50 trim compressor wheel ... but not 100% sure I've found the following wheels that will fit 39.6/56; 42.6/60; 42.7/60 and 42.7/60 - that's 3 around 50trim and 1 55trim ...

the GT-i-R spec T28 hybrid is a '60' trim compressor wheel.

So that's a 46.5/60 added to the list ... I'd still like to know what the spec is of the OE compressor wheel for sure! looking at some of the RR results, it's interesting that appears to be bo additional lag with the higher trim of the GTiR compressor wheel ... I guess the turbine wheel is the same and this must have more influence on spool and less on how much air the turbo can flow (is there a higher A/R on the turbine side?)

I've found a few posts on this .. but no answers. I can't believe 10s or 100s of people have had new compressor wheels with a new spec put on their turbo and they don't know what the original spec is! Looks like I'm about to join their ranks

Thanks Pistole. Are you sure that's it, I know it says TB28 ... but I've found a few Chinese sites with different TB28 specs (as above)!! I suppose it's not really that important, just annoying!

which would give it a trim of 75 ... which (on trim alone, ignoring exducer size) should flow more air than the GTiR compressor wheel think i better leave this turbo stuff to people who know what they're talking about

David, I know the specs of the TB28 has been a closely guarded secret
The best people to talk to is turbodynamics, they have a long history of modifying the TB28 turbo into 55 and 60 trim versions , the superspool for Barbz etc, I'm sure they should be able to help you

The original turbo that comes in Marea Turbo is the same TB2810, and when I had to replace mine, the small diam. was 42mm, what tells me that trim should be 45, coz now I have 46mm, and it is specified as Trim 60.

My mistake! It is 42mm, which means Trim 55. I have one ckd, so I went to check it.

Thanks Sydney! So it's a 56mm compressor wheel with 55 trim!
So I think the specs are:
Compressor Inducer: 42mm Exducer: 56mm Trim: 55 A/R: .42
Turbine Inducer: 53 Exducer: 46 Trim: 75 A/R: .49
But I could be wrong!
The GTiR Hybrid changes the compressor wheel to:
Inducer: 46.5mm Exducer: 60mm Trim: 60
which is the same size and trim as the GT28R (which has a .60 A/R)! The GT28R turbine specs are:
Inducer: 53mm Exducer: 42.5mm Trim: 62 A/R: .64
