Says it all really. IMO it's more snake oil. Spend your money on proper regular servicing and forget all these "wonder widgets".

Obviously, I can sell you an electric supercharger for only half what a GT28RS would cost ..

I looked into this ages ago for my first car (Fiesta 1.1LX Auto ) - they do work according to all reviews and tests I looked at, which were across a variety of cars. I installed it and the car did seem to run smoother.

Really easy to install, and a very well made piece of kit - if £50 is burning a hole in your pocket and you fancy fiddling with your car, give it a go - can easily put it back to standard.

I don't normally get sucked in my "snake oil" scam products - I did my research on this one and wanted to have a play under the bonnet, so bought it.

but it don't work on all cars .

yep I’m sad to say I had one on the old punto sporting and I gained 10miles to a tank at the most ( and I still think that it was me giving it less right foot ) and for running smoother , it's all in your head . just because it's there you think it's working (or to justify the £50 you spent ). Any way getting back to the it don’t work on all cars, it won't work on a turbo car as the boost pressure closes the valve which stop's it from working
.

I thought these worked by leaning off the mixture, something you definatley wouldnt want in a turbo car.

Theres a link floating about somewhere which is supposedly a independant report, which completely rubbishes them as being crap!

That’s exactly what it's doing which you don’t want on any car, but my point is that it won’t work on a turbo car. you put it in the vac line from your inlet manifold to your servo. When you put your foot down on a na car the vacuum opens the valve and lets in air but on a turbo car the turbo (surprise surprise) creates boost pressure which holds it shut.
