Its just finished. The man chose to buy the fiat. There was a toyota celica 2.0 gt, and a bmw 228. He had a budget of 3k. He bought a sprint blue 20v turbo on an s plate for £2,200. I think he got a good deal really.

It is repeated on Saturday ITV4 7pm to 8pm

It was on a T plate they got it wrong - still loving the new toy!!

Am i the only one in a rage?? First that fat presenter says it does 0-60 in 6.9 seconds then he says the cambelt costs 700 quid then fifteen mins later he says it costs 600 quid :mad:. Absolutley no idea . Then you had Penny scowling at it like it was a dog turd!

Only, someone posted that it was on at 8pm on Wednesday, so I'd have missed it firs time round if I'd been home and able to watch!

It was advertised orginally on the men and motors website as 8 but it looks like the schedule changed and they brought it forward. Most likley because of the footy.

Looks like it is set for a repeat at 7pm on saturday.

Just seen it last night & here's my two penn'orth. Rich definitely made the right choice of these three cars, having owned all three cras myself over the years.

The Celica looks good & has the usual Japanese qualities of being well built & will run forever. However, the driving experience left me cold, it wasn't that fast & the interior has that special Japanese shiny plastic. Didn't last long as it was so boring to be in as opposed of be outside of!

The BMW had the badge & the engineering & was quite handsome, but it wasn't exactly exclusive and not exactly a head turner either. It was a fast car & handled nicely, but it wasn't cheap to run, was a bit dour inside & had wallet busting fuel economy. That had to go for that main reason!

So, I now have my dream Coupe 20v Turbo & it knocks spots off the others for performance & style. The only thing is the running costs & as they get older the reliability, as it does tend to disintegrate if used hard!

So, welcome Rich - you got a nice one there (as obviously Jason Dawes raved about it & knew it was the right choice from the start; that Penny is a non-believer anyway) and for a VERY good price (especially with the plate).

Tommy - No wonder that Jason put the phone down quick when you said yes to the deal!! I hope that you get another one soon & re-join the fold!

I must ask though (and it might just be me being picky) but did anyone else notice that on the test drive, when moving the handbrake light was on all the time ??

And its still on now its just the electrics. The handbrake was not on whilst I was driving apart from the handbrake turn back into the studio

OMG, somebody's handbrake is good enough for a handbrake turn?

Does anyone have this on their PC, as an AVI etc as was out Saturday so missed it again

Not a bad show, even if they copied the Deals on Wheels/Top Gear format in places and Jason Dawe was a bit OTT at times, though I shouldn't pick on someone with enthusiasm I suppose...
