Bury is quite a nice small town.

Make sure you check out what is said to be the smallest pub in Britain (The Nutshell), it's just up the road from a good model shop too

Hi all, i don't think i will be able to make this meet,as i don't think i will have my car finished in time.Refurbing my engine bay,wheels,fuel cap,and waiting for my water pipes to arvive from the group buy so i can fit them plus my new radiator at the same time. But i will be ready for brooklands!! So i hope to see a lot of you there!!

As for a route how about this: We meet at the white horse at 12.

Down the A134 past Sudbury to Braintree to pick up the Essex mob. Potter round the A120 and back up the M11/A11 back to the white horse and a lateish lunch.

It's a good mix of roads with the odd bit bit of open no-camera dual carriage way for those who want to to exceed 60 mph. About 90 miles.
