Hello again, after my last trip to the rollers in December we decided to have a boys day out for my brothers 30th birthday as he had jus finished his Golf mk2 VR6 project.

After my last results (212bhp) before i went back on i gave my coupe and full service plus bought a gtec chip and the results where a little bit better.

best 3 runs -

run 1 - 259.4bhp
run 2 - 262.1bhp
rub 3 - 262.3bhp

was very pleased with the results, I also asked the man who was running the dyno to check the fuelling which he said was spot on as a lot of people told me to check if getting a gtec.

overall very happy with the performance and running of my coupe highest power figure of the day smile

Nice noise. Not even a whiff of smoke too which is always good!
I had a MK2 golf with a vr6 and unichip fitted and that only just did 200 ponies.
Would say 260 ish is about right for a charged vr.

cheers dazvr6. my brother ran his mk2 vr6 same day 178bhp standard jus filter not bad considering 160,000mile engine.

my mates charged vr6 was mapped to 305bhp at stealth 6 months ago had a lot done to it, was running crazy rich on the day.

305 is pretty good. Did it have a smaller pulley fitted?
