HH means the Cardiff Bay thing methinks Ha. Yes, I made a quick post as I was getting the kids out of the door for school and chose the wrong Welsh meeting thread I doubt I'll get to go this year either. It's Mrs HH birthday weekend. Unless we get divorced before then. And I have been spending alot of time on the Alfa rather than doing up the house. Whoops. The Alfa is going well, sounds fab and is now sporting a lovely boot/boat spoiler off of a Sunseeker. Still needs the cambelt doing though.... Ps. I deleted the post twice as soon as I realised my goof, but it still remains

Hi All In my haste to drum up support, I forgot to register before the 1st August deadline. DOH !! A couple of Coupe buddies also forgot. HOWEVER do not despair !! You can turn up on the day and pay your £10 entry. It is for charity after all. Just go to Gate 2 and with your Jedi skills, use the Force to make the steward let you in. Actually, just say, "I'm here to exhibit, please direct me to the Fiat Coupe area." https://bloodwise.org.uk/event-challenge...CFRS6Gwod7AwGuQHope to see you there.

I'm hoping to make this too, having done sufficient DIY and family duties at home to earn myself a day off with my car. I see that exhibitors have to be on the show ground by 10.30am, and have to stay til 16.00. I'll be going as a day visitor and so can enter the show at 11.00 The forecast is dry if not hot or sunny. Looking at last years photos, there's a fair variety of cars too see. (I'm looking forward to seeing the buses too)! Are you all meeting there, or is there a chance to meet up at a service station en-route for a mini, pre-event convoy of Italian steel (I'll be in me Alfa).

Yep, looking good for Sunday. See you there Huw. I'll be at the tea hut wearing a Fiat Cap...... maybe...
Exhibitors via GATE 2. Only £10 to exhibit and kids are free. We'll turn up around 9:30ish to get on site before it opens. Must remember to take picnic ! though plenty of food on site too.
Any other takers ???

Hi Huw, Gripped, arm and I will be at junction 34 of the M4 at about 9:15. If you're coming westbound, take the exit at junction 34, then first exit at the roundabout... then park up on the right hand side. Look out for two coupes and a triumph Stag!

What a great day! Sorry you couldn't make it, Joe. Thanks for letting us know about it, Toby. It was great to see you again Toby, and Mrs G, Arm and Boosted7. Glad your Stag decided to play and allow you to get to the show eventually,Arm. Where are you now? Immobilised at a petrol station on the M4? Hope not. The Gripped scones, jam and cream were lush. Thanks. On leaving the show, the number of Coupes I saw today doubled. There was an Inky T plate n/a by the top of gate 2, and Jacky was just leaving the car park in her lovely Electric blue plus. I shouted 'Coupe!' and stopped my car near to hers. Fortunately, she worked out I was harmless and we had a good chat. She said she prefers her R plate that your restoring, Joe, to her Plus and is looking forward to getting it back. She's also had a 3 litre GTV in the past. What a Lady . Car of the show ( apart from the Coupes and the Stag), was a blinding TVR Sagaris. Also the Stratos. There's a pic of the TVR HERE , along with some of my Alfa HERE (That's sounding even better after the trip, I reckon I've cleared a few more cells out in the Cat. 180 mile round trip, and I still sat in the car listening to the engine when I got home! The best pic I have in my head, was the view in my rear view mirror of Jacky's Plus seen through my rear spoiler as she closed me down on the way back home.'Triffic I've just had another vision - your beer barrel Toby. Bloody brilliant. Is there any left now?

A great weekend hosted by Mr & Mrs Gripped. After a glorious day touring the Brecon Beacons on Saturday, the Stag was so tired it needed some attention before it would wake up the next day. After some emergency re-wiring and general wire wiggling, the immobilizer appears now to be working again. At the show the Coupes received as much/more attention than the older classic alongside. Great scenery, hospitality, food & drink and company! Some photos For most attention at a show, it appears what is required is a double-ended Coupe like the Rover parked behind the Stag. Over to Joe...
