Cant wait Jimboy for this one to come... coupe running fine and last Sundays run to SICD was probably the first its been pushed a little since I've had had it.

Couldn't keep up with Simon and of course Marko on the way back home though.

Well chaps the weather is very sunny here & I'm obsessed on keeping an eye on the forecast for our wee trip. By all accounts things look good. Fingers crossed. I treated myself to a nice 3/8 socket set as I said earlier, now I'm looking at all tools/spanners that I would like, but in reality don't need. Just a tad looking forward to the craic & all that's involved. driving

Good grief, I can feel all grumpiness being lifted from me..... biglaugh

Final countdown for us, only a week to go before we leave home. Monday lunchtime to Mainland Orkney, stay with friends overnight then down to Scotland Tuesday arrive Inverness late afternoon.

Weather is fantastic here, sat outside with a glass or two of wine until late evening, perfect, makes getting through the stormy winter worthwhile.

Yes, like Jimboy, so looking forward to this trip and meeting everyone and their coupes.

It's going to be "gr-8" as they say in text messaging circles

Hey Jimboy- that's a shame about the last minute hitch on the running front- have you any hints as to what might have happened...??

I thought I had a similar problem just after I got mine- but then I remembered I hadn't bought the turbo version...

Aye Jim, I'm not getting full boost, only getting .9 bar. Taking it to a place tomorrow that maps cars in Inverness. they seem to know what they're doing when I had a word today.

Well, my Coop is still not running right. The place which called themselves experts did not have the correct plug in adaptor to access the ecu. However plan B, Monday, off to Nairn where a garage I do know has knowledge of these rare beasties.

That's really my main problem up here, no real specialist garage that can really understand a Coop. Here's hoping they don't find something bad... frown

Oh guys you're all lovely people, thanks for all the pointers. I can't believe I'm running so close to the wire, last minute & all that.

My whole family are so excited for me & hoping all goes well. Shucks! I'm certainly not giving away anything but I'm sure like others on here have their hidden stories. I'm no exception. I'll leave it that for now....... woohoo

Hope your regas goes alright chaps. Last year when I had extensive work done on my Coop, I landed up with a new dryer & seals for the system. It just wouldn't take a charge before.
