A jam-packed 32-acre arena boasts a host of activities and entertainment, including the popular Military Zone, Wheels Zone, live music, themed retail outlets, laser quest, paintballing, kit-plane demonstrations, aviation and motoring simulators, military outlets and displays, static aircraft, fairground and emergency services demonstrations.

After the shambles of the last two years I very much doubt that we will have much success in getting a significant number of places allocated to coupes.

However I have requested space in the static display area for us on both days. I expect to get confirmation from the organisers within the next week.

Please add your name to a separate list if that interests you.

Anyone who fails to get a runway spot will of course be welcome to join in the static display.

I received this email from them Pete so lets hope ed can sort it out and not have the shambles of the last two years .

Good Morning,

I hope you do not mind me emailing you, but I have taken over here at Wings & Wheels from Emily; looking after the Wheels Zone. I believe that last year you either participated or applied to the Motoring Demonstration. I just wanted to inform you that we are open to applications for this year and you can apply on our website or alternatively via the following link:

http://www.wingsandwheels.net/motoring-demonstration-application-form

If you have any questions, then please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to help.

Kind regards,

Ed

Lets hope Ed can get us better representation on the run Iain.

It is still the same folks at Brooklands making the demo decisions unfortunately.

Not a lot we can do but wait until the end of July to find out though.

I now have confirmation from them that the club has been allocated space on both days, Saturday and Sunday.

They have changed the system this year, making the club responsible for paying for and distributing tickets.

Hopefully this should avoid some of the problems we have had in previous years when we had to wait until we heard whether we had a spot on the runway run then having to try to get a club space for the many disappointed owners.

There is a significant saving on entry costs by purchasing your ticket through the club, as much as £13.00 saving on an adult 1 day ticket against buying it at the gate.

We also park all together close to the action and are invited to join in the viewing line parade.

Type of Ticket and Prices

Wheels Zone & Parade 1 day Adult £15 Club, £22.00 advance, £28.00 on the day.

Wheels Zone & Parade 1 day Child £5 Club, £7.00 advance and on the day.

Wheels Zone & Parade Adult Weekend £27 Club, £39.00 advance only.

Wheels Zone & Parade Child Weekend £7.50 club, £12.00 advance only.

Because the club has to administer ticket purchase and distribution we need some personal details from you.
Please send them by PM to me.
They will only be used to get the correct numbers and types of ticket to you.

What we need:

Your full name

Address including postcode

Contact number

Car make and model + registration number.

Which day(s) you want to go: Saturday, Sunday or Weekend.

Number of passengers: (Maximum of 3 people per car at the discounted price.)

Your money.
Payment can be by Paypal spaitalia@fccuk.org or through our bank account, Lloyds Bank Aldershot, sort code 30-90-09 account number 03096971.

Whichever method you use please make full payment before 27th June as the club has to make our payment to the organisers a couple of days later,

If we don't, our space will no longer be available to us.

Please add your name to the list if you are going and indicating when you have paid.

Saturday

1.)
2.)
3.)
etc.

Sunday

1.)
2.)
3.)
etc.

Hopefully that's covered most things, if theres anything you think I've missed, please ask.

Here's the event website. We hope to see you there.

If anyone wants to go they have 3 days to make their payment to the club.

After the 27th June I have to confirm how many, if any, are attending and also pay for participants club entry.

Don't think there will be many there this year Si.

There wasn't enough interest to have a club stand.

very good day out , the weather was on / off drizzle all day but still a good turn out of cars , bikes and aircraft , shame there wasn't any other coupes running or displaying this year but hopefully next year the club will have a stand .

The club did have a stand available this year Iain, but due to total lack of interest in people attending we had to let it go.

Did their revised traffic controls ease the congestion on the way out Iain?

Awful delays last year.

The club would be prepared to apply for space again next year, but only if folks want to go.

We can't just book a space and then cancel again.

Was planning on doing both days, but had wastegate issue on last run on the sat (bleeding off lots of boost at top end).

Was there on Sunday with family though, and enjoyed Seeing and hearing your car. Looks lovely too by the way. smile
