It is that time of year again!

As with previous years we can reserve an alcove in this popular pub with space for 24 maximum. It has worked well before as we are all together and the rest of Warlingham doesn't have to put up with talk about CHOD's and dump valves etc.!!

I have booked it for Sunday 4/12/16 starting at 12:00 noon. Once I have the 24 spaces I shall confirm to them and we will need to collect a £5.00 deposit from each and they will send out a menu to choose from- all as last year. Unfortunately their Festive Menu is NOT available on Sundays but then again Saturdays before Christmas tend to be busy in a non- Coupe capacity and popular with diners generally.

All welcome with guest- just 24 spaces available!

No problem at all Neil, the way things are going at present the 6 of us will be eating in a telephone box. Except, of course, they don't exist anymore!

Roll up, roll up!!

Still plenty of space.

We'll leave it until the end of October and see what the response is like; if there is not too many we'll have to decide if it is worth it.

Currently we could all get round our dining table at home!

Sorry Chris but no can do that weekend - we'll probably be gridlocked / parked up somewhere on the M6 about that time.

Cooperman, just as I was giving up hope!

We've had this up for about 7 weeks now and well over 600 have viewed it but we only have 10 people so far. Whilst I am delighted that they are wanting to come and we will have a good time it would be even nicer if others were to join us.

It is booked a week later than last year, has that made it more difficult or was the venue not to people's taste?; some feedback would be good for the future.

In the meanwhile I'll inform the restaurant of the 'final' numbers by 21/11/16 and then collect the deposits from those coming and send you out menus to chose from.

Just to say that I will 'close' this on Saturday and ring them on Sunday 21st. November to confirm that we will require a table for 10 ( unless more enrol, which would be nice). Assuming it is only 10 then we won't need to pay a deposit OR pre-order food. Therefore we will simply meet up for 1:00 pm and look forward to a cosy lunch with friends.

To those who have signed up, a big 'thank you' and looking forward to meeting up again!

I have PM'd those who are going to this and this is now 'closed' for another year.

We will have a good meal and chat about the coming year's meetings and other matters. I have some news regarding Horsham Piazza 2017 which I will put on the forum when it is confirmed by the organisers but will share with the 'lunch club'.

If the 'lunchers' could look at their "My Stuff" folder and respond I would be grateful and look forward to seeing them on 4th. December.

Thanks Chris.

Thank you to all, Jean and I had a great time. If those who had any ideas for Horsham could let me have their leads I would be most grateful.
John has 'volunteered' to organise a Bolney Stage lunch in February, which will be nice!
