Has anyone else had problems with the member nitrous? (Cufaro-Racing-Shop)

i paid £30 quid for fiat coupe spares (fuel pump) two months ago. the item never got posted, and he is now refusing to refund (offered my half the money which i wont accept)

he is now refusing to answer e-mails, and is in the trouble makers section having seemingly been doing similar stuff to other members.

It is important that members like this are made known to the forum community, and that their misdemeanors are made public so that other people dont have their money stolen too.

(administrators: if this infringes the rules please let me know what the infringement is and i'll edit it).

I would strongly recommend you reconsider buying items from this guy (ebay page http://stores.ebay.de/cufaro-racing-shop) as he clearly has no intention of paying me the refund i should be getting having had no contact from him in ages now, even though he is being logged having logged onto the forum yesterday (29/06/08)

I have informed the administrators and they are looking into it.

never bought from him as his tuning parts don't always seem to be very uprated. IMO of course.

Kiesh: what? that doesnt even make sense... im not impressed mate, i told you i needed the fuel pump asap as i have no car, its now taken you a week and still no pump. if you thought it was going to take this long for you to post the item you shouldnt have sold me the pump. Now i dont have the pump i cant fix the car this weekend, which means i have to hire a car for another week at great expense to myself.

Nitrous: the pump came back saturday seems to be something wrong with your adress on the package a worker has done a mistake

Kiesh: swearing isnt necessary mate, paypal is fairly straight forward, when you log on and look at a payment you've been sent it lists the senders address etc, and the senders messaage with any details you may need to know (IE what the payment was for and delivery details)

The admin team are very well aware of this situation.

have done mate, but he's just paid me back after sending me abusive e-mails. Im glad i got the money, but wouldnt trust him with owt again, rude, abusive, slow, unhelpful, untrustworthy... not got alot going for him

Ive bought a oil feed pipe and a vband adapter of nitrous
last year and not had a problem

I think looking at your earlier replys you where a bit sharp tbh. Thats still no reason not to refund you though.

As the Admin Team are obviously dealing with this, I'd suggest this thread is locked rather than continue on an open forum?

Kiesh, can you confirm through Private Message you have received your money back?

The Admin team have a very fine line to tread

1) All disputes of this nature should be kept private
2) All members have a right to know if a trader is not acting reasonably

which would you go with?

So - if you had placed an order with a seller that subsequently went bad, how happy would you be to find that the Admin team knew of the potential for problems but didn't make the membership aware?

This dispute has now been resolved, but not until the Mod and Admin teams had to get involved. The only reason that this thread was allowed to go public is that there is definitely no case of "one member's word against another" - we have irrefutable evidence that Nitrous refused to refund Keish as a retaliation for having his posting rights restricted.

We simply won't put up with any sellers (private or trader) acting in anything less than an exemplary manner - it reflects on the forum as a whole and cuases the Admin and Mod teams an inordinate amount of work.

Well - he was given multiple chances to apologise, but he claims the forum has "acted incorrectly" and he's threatening legal action.

Oh dear.

So, as far as we are concerned, Nitrous is now banned permanently and Cufaro Racing will not be allowed to be promoted on this forum again.

As already stated, we will not tolerate shoddy service to our membership. mistakes happen and the best measure of a dealer or supplier is how quickly mistakes are corrected. However this was no mistake, so the forum will now have to do without his services.

I'd just like to add one point to the above posts by Nigel.

The admin team (with mods) have spent SO MUCH TIME dealing with this issue, and Admin gave Nitrous every chance to sort it out, without any problems from them.

Your admin team deserve commendation and respect for the way this has been handled. As u can see from above posts, this is not behaviour (as Nigel has said) that can be tolerated.

Indeed Big up the Admin team, quality service guys (and gals?) If only our criminal justice favoured the victim with such fair and succesful results....

If anything its nice to know that the people who run this forum have standards and will take action to help its members.

i just read this topic, and all i can say is that we have many members in France who have similar problems with him, and bigger too !

Its right that we are made aware - yes things go wrong etc... but the important thing is how its dealt with, fairly, honestly and politely - if someone behaves badly or outright cons people then others should be made aware imho.
