Hello Guys,

Has anyone heard of anything about fiat bringing out a new coupe or in the design stage? Ive looked on the internet but haven’t seen any concept photos or news about this.

I think it would be nice to continue the legacy! What would you like to see on a new Coupe? I personally hope they wouldnt play around with the overall look too much. Or at least try and implement the renowned slits down the side.

What do you guys think?

Mario

They should keep the headlights, tailights as well as the slits. Keep the basic shape more or less as it is now. Make it a bit more aggressive. Possibly make it slightly longer at the rear and make the overall design, especially the front, just a bit curvier/smoother so as to modernise it a bit more- but not too much as the sucessor should continue to do what the current Coupe does now- be unique.

I don't think they will ever do another one

Fiat group is diversified enough to ensure that the component parts don't compete with each other (or at least keep the overlap to a minimum)

Alfa is the sporty brand, Ferrari is the supercar brand for the halo effect. Lancia is destined to become the mid-sized luxury brand, Maserati is the big super-luxury brand.

And Fiat? It will go back to what its always been best at - building small cars - Punto, 500 - that sort of thing

Id agree with Nigel. Alfa seem to be close on the coop design more than fiat have been for a while...

I'm afraid Nigel is right. Fiat seem to be going back to building smaller cars and not overlapping with Alfa Romeo.
The only remote poosibility is an Abarth coupe which could act as a "halo" model for the Abarth brand.

Well that's what we all thought in the late 80's / early 90's following the demise of the Fiat Dino and 124 Sport, 131 Supermirafiori, Strada Abarth models...and then what came along in the early to mid 90's?
