This car is full of the italian tradition of motoring, a 34 year old Lampredi engine which still command high respect due to its heat treated crankshaft,sodium cooled valves and twin balancer shaft, only today we see other manufaturers using this technology in their latest generation of engines. And not forgetting the 3 years of WRC championship that it gave Lancia in the faboulous Intergrale..The design will stay fresh for almost a lifetime,sure its not perfect but that's why its more like a friend than just a car....'
Improvements
Fiat have made a big step in quality but there more room for improvement, interior plastics on the 16v models tend to melt in the hot sun, the old tipo chassis well the next generation will be based on the latest fiat platforms....I can't wait...
