I've got the rare opportunity to possibly have these on my 16vt for good money and so have photoshopped them on how my car will look when out of the bodyshop.

For those that don't know these are 4 stud Integrale Evo 2 alloys in gunmetal grey. Obviously seeing as the 16vt shares the same power house as the 'Grale I think these really complete it's pedigree.

Comments welcome!

Thoughts welcomed.

Haha all good things to be said. I don't think there's another Coupe in the UK sporting these wheels as far as I know obviously!

Think these are going to have to be mine smile

Touch wood! They will probably get a refurb anyway if I do decide to go for them as mint wheels are a must!

How many sets of wheels in how many weeks? wink

I looked into these but decided they didn't really suit my car. Have to say they look better in that chop than they did on mine!

I think they look awful.

They look like my washing basket lid and they look like plastic wheel trims.

Ooooh a negative opinion. Interesting. It does show how varied opinions on wheels can be.

Tell me about it coupe_integrale, currently though the Speedlines are in the bodyshop with the car getting refurbed so if they are perfect I'll end up keeping them and not bothering with the 'grales

I think I've seen a set of these wheels in white on a sprint blue coupe before. Although it may have been a dream. Either way I think they look pretty good thumb

Would look a lot better in a better colour combo, Sprint blue just doesn't work with them in that silver.

Compomotive Th2s I think - very similar.

They look too motorsport for me, the coupe is a style cruising car not a motorsport racer, same goes for black wheels with me I'm afraid, they look rubbish on the coupe.

Oh no !
Nice wheels BUT;
They're just to fussy for the coupe.
To much going on for the flowing lines.
Much better left to the Lancia's chunky look.

The wheels are Ok but a bit boring.
Why not get JKD's wheels off his orange sex beast.....I am sure he would sell if the price were right.
You could obviously go around corners much faster with these babies fitted too.

Absolutely...its all about personal taste...if you like them then it doesn;t matter what anyone else thinks. If you were to do a survey across all the active memebrs, I'm sure the split would be 50/50 anyway.

Right I've got my hands them stupidly cheap as they're not well. The big problem is 2 of them are MEGA kerbed to death. As in chunks missing from the outer lips. The other 2 are perfect.

Where on Earth can sort this for me local to Kent or have they had their day?

As far as I know, kerbed wheels even with chunks missing can be repaired. There's a glue/filler compound which is used during the process. Buckled wheels, however, are a different story. I've yet to find anyone who can help with buckled wheels.

You *could* do the work yourself. If you good with filler, sanding, and patient.

Or just contact any one of the number wheel refurbishing companies out there. There are even mobile companies who can help.

I'd suggest, before you get any work paid for, get the wheels down to you local wheel and tyre centre, and get them to check for buckling though. No point spending good money on getting them looking unkerbed, with new rubber on, and then finding them to be buckled badly.

I've found Lepsons in Gillingham can straighten them if buckled but from what I can tell they're not buckled just have a chunk missing out of 1 them

Then that should be relatively easy to repair. You could, as I said above, try DIY. I did on the standard 20vt wheels I'm running at the moment, (because my Dare v5's are buckled), and they were quite badly kerbed. They've come up a treat.

BTW I actually quite like those wheels. I know people have said they're too busy/fussy, etc. But I think they'll suit the Coupe nicely.

I was reeeeally hoping to have them on for Brooklands but I don't think I'll have them repaired by then.

Plus DIY, filler and me don't mix! lol!

How long away is Brooklands? Can't Lepsons do it, they might be back with you in only a few days.

smile

Or maybe someone handy on here might be able to do it? Not me though - I'm nervous enough working on my own Coupe for fear of ruining something, let alone someone elses.

I reckon you'll be fine in time for Brooklands, if Lepsons can get you sorted.

Incidentally thanks for the heads up on this co, I checked their website and they mention about buckled wheels, which they may be able to repair so I've just sent an email off to see what they'll charge.

Pics to come!
