Hello from France,

I have some questions for you about these 18inches rims (225/35toyo tires) for my moony Plus. Here in France, everyone goes for team dynamics, but I don't like multispoke design.
Well, i'm looking for Azev E which came for the coop in 18x8,5 ET 30. I made some mesurements on my car and it doesn't seem to be plug and play for the rear: Do I need to stretch the rear wings?? I've seen many picture of Azev C or Ls... And it seems to be ok, so I don't understand.
The second thing is the weight: Are they heavy? How much does one rim weight?
The only question about compomotive MO1881 (6spokes 8x18 ET35 silver) is about the look. Does anyone have pictures of it??

Thanks a lot
Best regards

Weight Azev Type C 8x17", 4x98, ET 40: 12 kg each (that is rim, centre cover and four bolts).

For comparison one Plus rim: ca 9.3 kg (no bolts included).

Azev is a little bit heavier than original rim, but they look sooo good. Please have a look at my sig smile

Models C and E are no longer available.

What about fitting in the rear wings?
No pictures of Compomotives?

My 17x7 Team Dynamics ProRace 1 weigh just 7.6kg per corner

An extra 4.4kg per wheel is a very high price to pay for looking good

I got my Azevs very cheap, so the extra weight was just a bonus wink

How much for one set of Pro Race 1?

Get on the Compomotive website. www.comp.co.uk British made, very very light and very very stong. Top quality product. They will make wheels to order so you can change offsets etc. Brilliant customer service, can't rate them highly enough as a company to be honest.

Compo's aren't what can be tell "light wheels". They are strong, but not light (about 12 kg in 8*18)
Thanks for website but I've spent many hours investigating the net for pictures of coop wearing those, I've tried many photoshops... What I want is true pictures of it, thanks

I've been looking at HRE forged monoblock alloys, lush, but I think very pricey, I may end up swapping my old "E's" one day, but am happy with my rims, heavy or not.

Only advantage is that they are pot hole resistant smile ( touch wood !!! ) shocked

Apollo, no they don't runb, HOWEVER I have rolled the rear arch lip a small amount.

My coop is lowered on Eibach springs.

tyre size MUST be 225/35/18, you could go wider perhaps though' !

ET I think is ET 30 or 32, I'll check on the wheel tonight, as it's engraved on the inner wheel boss
