dear all,

i put an adv in the newspaper that i want a coupe and now after 6 months i received a call saying that he has a coupe plus 2000 model maroon color. i saw and tested the car , it runs however the oil pressure is very low , it has oil leaks on the cylinder heads , the brakes are not working properly , the sunroof doesnot open, the AC does not blow cold air , it has boost leaks all over the place , it has ticking sound all the time( either lifter or valve tick) the guy asked for 700 pounds and i offered 250 pounds , what do you guys think shall i get it and fix it and how much aproximately iam looking to pay here. it has the 3 keys but no service history at all. the body has some minor scratches. the car does not give any smoke which is strange it has 117000 KM mileage. and it needs new tires , you can hear the turbo spools everytime you push it but no power.

There are a lot of things to fix and I think it depends on your ability with a spanner. For £250 it woukld be a bargain but you might need several~£1000 to put it back to good working order.

what do you think about the body ? have you seen the car? the owner does not even know that his car is made in italy he does not even know that its turbo, he thinks its a japanese car. the amount of filth and bad smell inside the car is beyond description. you are lucky you were not with me yesterday becuase the smell was ..............

i dont have the time to break it to parts , however i have a clean coupe pearl white plus now and maybe i will just buy this smelly coupe for spare parts, however here in dubai you need to pay for parking everywhere so maybe it will cost me parking more than its price. i still need to check on that.

You can buy this plus, then fly over to the uk and buy my coupe and ship it back and swap all the parts over !

If anyone was selling a plus for £250 it would be gone in a matter of minutes despite its conditon.

looks alright from here, cant really see but you can't go wrong for £250! The alloys its self will go for that in the uk. I wouldn't want to pay for parking though..

I'd probably snap his arm off for spare parts alone.

If you do have to break it, and you can ship the skirts and wheels over here, I'd have them for £250 !
