Guys, just wondering if anyone could tell me what the biggest brakes i could fit on my 20VT? its mostly standard apart from a straight through pipe, baileys dv and a gtec 1 chip. Its also on standard wheels. There isnt anything wrong with the discs and pads on there now but i dont think they can EVER be big enough! Also any recommendations on the discs and pads?
Cheers

You could go for an Alfa GTA conversion giving you 330mm discs.
A Porsche conversion with 343mm discs.
D2 conversion which I think is 356mm and an XYZ conversion 360mm or thereabouts. In fact they might be the same as the D2 as they are made by the same people.

If you get anything bigger than 304mm discs you need bigger wheels.

http://compbrake.co.uk/shop/index.php?manufacturers_id=10&sort=2a&filter_id=5They do a kit I had on my coupe with 330mm discs, 280mm rears, and new calipers...be prepared to part with 2K though. You will also need 17 inch wheels with good caliper clearance. You can't go bigger than stock without changing the wheels.
