I threw a few hours this afternoon at my 16vt. Fitted sony head unit to control the 10 disc autochanger in the boot, setup tomtom satnav and bluetooth to my ipod. All working nicely.

Then, started on the cleaning job. There was grot in every knook and cranny of this coop. So, I've cleaned it head to foot, inside door frames, all glass inside and out, under bonnet, even around and inside the boot.

Robbie, if you read this it'd been some time since some of these areas saw hot soapy water laugh

Tomorrow morning I intend to give her a good polish with autoglym srp, but she's already come up pretty good, see pics...

Left to tackle are;
1) Sort boosting at 0.3 bar max issue and occasional misfire on cranking (flea on monday!)
2) fit new pads all round
3) passenger electric window not winding up
4) annoying buzzing behind dashboard when lights on
5) change rocker cover (leaking)
6) fit decat pipe
7) pop out dent in rear quarter panel
8) sort bubbling rear light pods, rub down and paint
9) bonnet release cable

All in all, my £600 runner is not looking too shabby an investment smile

Kids saw it for first time this evening, and the love... wait for it... the sunroof. "Daddy, it's got a hole in the roof and it looks like Marmadukes car" said my 5 year old daughter. Although she did recognise it being a coop!

Nice one Dan. Does it have a name? If not, the reg might suggest it should be called JoJo... or maybe something to do with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration?

Thanks James - you reminded me I've got a nice shiny new set of plates on their way too! My friend Jo has already claimed it as hers smile

Don't rest easy yet, as I'm sure Simon will be bringing her along to a meet at some point tongue
