I'm asking about breathing gain with 2.4 heads (larger intake valves,maybe larger head ports).
About 2.4 camshafts on 20vt,could tell me somebody something?:)

from what people have been saying mate the heads and valves from the stilo 2.4 are the same as the 20v na and as for the cams i havent got a scooby.

20v and 20vt have same size valves, except 20vt ones are sodium filled (afaik)

2.4L has 3mm bigger valves, but again, not sodium filled (again afaik)

cams info, i dont remember..

yes it is true... you better put cams 2.0 20vt in head 2.4...valve is better to buy the same size but in sodium filled...and head 2.4 stand to make more rpm..

Daeron, seems to be something TABU these details about 2.4 camshafts on 2.0engine...Maybe is about 900gbp vs 200gbp and some benefit discussion :))

as for the cams, still cant find any info, but I think that 20vt cams have higher lift then 2.4 n/a (fiat so funny :P)

But nobody about camshafts ? Also nobody about 2.4 mainshaft...has same strenghtned(steel treatment) like 20vt mainshaft ?

I bougth my valves at cufaro racing...he have this valves...but is very expensive...send email for him and you know this prices...

Inlet valves don't need to be sodium filled - only the exhaust valves. If the exhaust valves on the 2.4 and 2 litre are the same size (anyone know or has measured the actual sizes?) the the 2 litre sodium exhaust valves could be used with the N/A 2.4 litre inlet valves.

Does anyone know for certain that the 2.4 engine has 33mm inlet valves? Has anyone measured them?

The 20VT exhaust valves are obviously too small for the 2.4 head. Shame.
