Just looking for recommendation for insurance companies. Its been a while since i've looked outside the admiral group but don't think they are the way forward in this scenario.

I remember greenlight and noel dazely being good ones for me. Any other ones? My "potential" coupe will be standard 20vt. I'm 26 and wanting fully comp.

Ross

Everyday car or second car..if latter try above neil willes or footman james. Both cover the coupe as classic with substantial savings

Im 26,6 points.Full comp with recovery which was usefull the other week For £330 all in

If there's another car in your household ask about admiral multicar. They were the cheapest I could find and saved the wife a bit too.

That's really good. It will be main car but limited to 6k a year as that's all I'm doing at the moment. HIC was a good one for me previously. Guess what I'm doing on my day off tomorrow. I have a budget of nearly double what your paying and have same no claims. :-)

Spoke to several insurers this morning. Here is the results.

Noel dazely - still waiting

Hic - £1709

Adrian flux - £1330

Greenlight insurance - didn't quote because haven't had a performance car in over 12 months

Admiral - £1503

Policy shop - still waiting

So far not so good.....

Neil willes - submitted quote online and Sarah phoned to give me the news. £619 fully comp with breakdown included. Absolutely incredible.

definitely worth giving them a call!

I did find it absolutely hilarious that they found me phoning them back up, to enquire why no callback after 2hrs of waiting, when I was told someone would phone back asap. Lol. Doubt they'll do any better than I've got anyways.

Thanks

Ross

I've just renewed through Bell. Lowest I've ever paid - £445.

I gave ND a shot, just for comparison and they couldn't get anywhere near.

ND just got back to me (not happy but it was worth the wait) - £690 - but allows me £8k mileage per year. I've asked them to better this and they are due to phone me back.

Thanks

Ross

If you are an fccuk member there is extra discount with Neil Willies, or have you been masquerading as a member, you naughty thing?

We must all do our part for the planet.
I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.
I even unplugged my own.

Lol. Previously I would have took that but my sensible head says I'll probably do more than 5k so better paying the extra to avoid problems later.

Thanks

Ross
